Run lite, bright and free
Joel 2:12 “12 “Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning;
Joel 2:13 “13 and rend your hearts and not your garments.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster.”
Lite - get rid of the weight
Sin - darkens your light
Do you love, God?
Do you love people?
Doesn’t matter how “right” you live if you don’t love people. Stop telling people the right belief system and start loving them.
We’re supposed to be running, but the problem is we haven’t orchestrated our lives to run. Everything in our life is geared for us to walk. To run consistently there are things in our lives that must change and unfortunately, many of us never make those actual changes consistent.
We have trying to fight Goliath wearing Saul’s armor.

Hebrews 12:1 “1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,”

Hebrews 12:2 “2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”
God, so loved the world…
For the joy set before him, Jesus endured the cross… Jesus loved us so much that the cross seemed as joy to him because it would bring us home.
We should be able to go through hard times and not lose our joy. Stop letting situations, steal your joy, stop letting seasons, steal your joy. Jesus overcame the world so that we can live in victory.
