I. APERTURA: LA EVIDENCIA (The Evidence)
(Tiempo: 7-10 Minutos)
(Sube al púlpito con calma. Coloca tus notas. Mira a la audiencia con una sonrisa).
"Good evening, church family. I stand here tonight with a piece of evidence."
(Levanta el Certificado)
"This paper says: Christian Life Center. Born February 28, 1945. Next month, this ministry turns 81 years old. Think about that number. In 1945, the world was at war. Since then, everything has changed. Presidents changed. Prices changed. Culture changed. Many businesses opened in 1945 and closed in 1950. But this house is still standing. Why?"
"It is not because the wood is strong. It is not because the people are clever. It is because what God plants, the enemy cannot remove."
"But tonight, I do not want to preach about a building. A building cannot love. A building cannot pray. Psalm 92:12 says: 'The RIGHTEOUS shall flourish like the palm tree.' It says The Righteous. That means YOU."
"Tonight, my title is simply: ROOTS AND FRUIT. We are going to look at the spiritual biology of your life. If God can keep this ministry standing for 81 years, surely He can keep YOU standing in your life. Let’s look at the Tree."
II. PUNTO 1: THE ROOTS (Las Raíces - La Vida Secreta)
(Tiempo: 15 Minutos)
"Let’s start at the bottom. THE ROOTS. Science tells us something amazing about trees. The root system is often bigger than the tree itself. It is like an iceberg: 90% is under the water. Roots live underground. Roots live in the dark."
"In our culture today, everyone wants to be seen. We love the Leaves (visibility). But we hate the Roots (privacy). But listen to me: If the roots die, the tree falls."
"What is the Root? The Root is your SECRET LIFE with Jesus. It is what you do when nobody is watching. You can sing loud on Sunday—that is a branch. But do you pray on Monday night?—that is a root."
"Jesus said in Matthew 6:6: 'When thou prayest, enter into thy closet... pray to thy Father which is in secret.' The strength of this church is not the stage; it is the prayer closet. The founders of 1945 dug deep roots. Now, it is your turn."
"Why do we need roots? Because biological roots do two things: They ANCHOR and they DRINK. When a storm comes, the root holds the tree. When a drought comes, the root finds deep water. If your faith is only 'Sunday Morning Faith', you will dry up. But if you are rooted in Christ, you will stand."
Verso de Poder:
Colossians 2:7 — "Rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith."
III. PUNTO 2: THE TRUNK (El Tronco - El Carácter)
(Tiempo: 15 Minutos)
"Second, let’s look at THE TRUNK. Psalm 92 says: 'He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.' The Cedar is famous for being massive and strong. If we cut a tree trunk, we see Rings inside. Every ring is one year of life."
"This church has 81 rings. Some rings are wide (good years). Some rings are thin (hard years). Maybe there are scars from a fire. But the tree is still here."
"The Trunk represents your CHARACTER. It represents stability. God wants to build a trunk in you that does not break. He wants you to be FAITHFUL."
"We see faithful men in your history. We honor Pastor David Meitzler. We honor Pastor Dwayne Evans. We see servants like Anthony Black (Treasurer), serving year after year. But be careful... They are not strong because of their own power. They are strong because God sustains them."
"Ephesians 6:10 says: 'Be strong IN THE LORD.' The trunk does not trust itself. It trusts the ground. If you want to last 81 years, stop trusting your emotions. Emotions change like the wind. Character stands like the wood."
IV. PUNTO 3: THE BRANCHES (Las Ramas - La Dependencia)
(Tiempo: 10 Minutos)
"Third, let’s look up at THE BRANCHES. In biology, there is a concept called 'Phototropism'. It means the plant always turns to the light. The branch knows: 'If I don't see the sun, I die.' Church, we must turn our face to Jesus. He is the Light."
"But Jesus gave us a serious warning about branches in John 15:5: 'I am the vine, ye are the branches... for WITHOUT ME YE CAN DO NOTHING.'"
"He did not say 'Without me you can do a little bit.' He said: NOTHING. This is the danger of being an 'old' church or an 'experienced' Christian. We think: 'I know how to do this. I don't need to pray today.' That is dangerous."
"A branch has no life of its own. The life comes from the SAP (La Savia). The Sap is the Holy Spirit. If you cut the connection, the branch looks green for one day. But tomorrow, it turns brown and dies."
"Christian Life Center, hear me: Yesterday's anointing is not enough for today. We need fresh oil. We need fresh sap. We must be desperate for Jesus every single morning."
V. PUNTO 4: THE FRUIT (El Fruto - La Gloria)
(Tiempo: 10 Minutos)
"Finally, the purpose of the tree: THE FRUIT. Think about nature. An apple tree never eats its own apples. The fruit is not for the tree. The fruit is for others."
"Psalm 92:14 is your prophecy: 'They shall still bring forth fruit in old age.' God did not keep you alive for 81 years just to survive. He kept you alive to FEED a hungry world."
"What is the fruit?
Character: Love, Joy, Peace (Galatians 5).
Souls: New people coming to Christ.
The Seed: Inside the fruit is the seed for the next generation."
"There is a beautiful Hebrew word in Psalm 92: RA-ANAN. It translates as: Fresh. Green. Flourishing. The world says: 'You are 80, you are finished.' God says: 'You are 80, you are just starting!'"
"Jesus said in John 15:8: 'Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit.' The fruit is for HIS GLORY. We grow the fruit, but God gets the glory."
VI. CONCLUSIÓN Y ORACIÓN (10 Minutos)
"I want to close with this thought. Look at this room. You are looking at a miracle of God’s holding power."
"Maybe you feel weak tonight. Maybe your roots feel dry. Maybe the wind is blowing hard in your family. I have Good News. The Gardener is here."
"Jesus is here to water your roots. Jesus is here to strengthen your trunk."
Altar Call (Llamado): "I invite you to stand up. If you want to say: 'Lord, I want to be a strong tree. I want to go deep in You.' Lift your hands right now."
"Lord Jesus. You are the Vine. We are the branches. We confess tonight: Without You, we are nothing.
Thank You for 81 years of grace. But tonight, we pray for our own hearts. Make our Roots deep in prayer. Make our Trunk strong in character. Keep our Branches connected to Your Spirit. And produce Fruit for Your Glory.
We declare that we are Ra-anan—Fresh and Green! We give You all the honor. In Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen!"

"Science tells us something amazing about trees. It is called the principle of Biomass (Báio-mas). It means the root system is often larger than the tree itself. It is like an Iceberg (Áis-berg): 90% is under the water.
The roots act as an Anchor (Án-kor). If you see a big tree, it means there is a big root system holding it. You cannot have a big public life with a small private life. The roots must be equal to the branches."
2. PARA EL TRONCO: DENDROCHRONOLOGY
Palabras Científicas:
Annual Rings (Anillos Anuales):
Pronunciación: "Án-yual Rings"
Scars (Cicatrices):
"If we cut a tree, we see circles inside. Science calls them Annual Rings (Án-yual Rings). There is a big scientific word for this study: Dendrochronology (Dén-dro-kro-nó-lo-yi). It is the history of the tree written in wood.
Some rings are wide—those were the good years. Some rings are thin—those were the hard years. Sometimes we see black Scars (Skárs) from old fires. This church has 81 rings. You have scars from the past. But you are still standing. Your history made you strong."
"In biology class, we learn about a process called Photosynthesis (Fó-to-sín-te-sis). The leaves need light to create life.
Because of this, trees have a survival instinct called: Phototropism (Fó-to-tró-pi-sum). Repeat after me: Phototropism.
It means the plant physically turns its face to the light. The branch knows: 'If I don't see the sun, I die.' Church, we must have spiritual Phototropism. We must turn our face to Jesus. He is the Light of the World. If we turn away from the Light, our spirit dies."
4. PARA EL FRUTO: BIOLOGICAL GENEROSITY
Palabras Científicas:
Biological (Biológico):
Pronunciación: "Báio-ló-yi-cal"
Generosity (Generosidad):
"Think about nature. An apple tree never eats its own apples. Science calls this Biological Generosity (Báio-ló-yi-cal Yé-ne-ró-si-ti).
The fruit is not for the tree. The fruit is for others. God did not save you just for you. He blessed you so you can feed a hungry world.
Also, the seed is inside the fruit. Without the seed, the Species (Spí-shis) dies. If we don't produce fruit today, there will be no church tomorrow."
