We are going to tie a different knot.

This chapter is full of knots and the expert not tier faces the same problem. He has all this knowledge and experience and people don’t want to listen. He uses this letter to prove his experience and credibility and that he doesn’t need a letter of recommendation. The proof is in you.

Not Letters  But Lives- 2 Cor. 3:1-3

• To be Known & read by all- v. 2

• These Credentials are SHOWN from the Heart- v. 3

• Application: Am I Living PROOF- Hebrews 8:10, Eph. 4:17-24

Not Self But God- 2 Cor. 3:4-6

• Ministers of a New Covenant of the Spirit- 2 Cor. 2:17

• Application: Do I take the Ministers Seriously- 2 Peter 3:15-17

Not Death But Life- 2 Cor. 3:7-11

• Not LESS BUT MORE GLORY

• Application: Am I Serious About the GLORY of The Ministry- Acts 19:18-20

Not Veiled BUT Free- 2 Cor. 3:12-17

• Only Through CHRIST is the veil of CONDEMNATION removed

• Application: Am I A Slave to the Law of Righteousness- Rom. 6:16-18

Therefore Chapter 2 Cor 4:1

• We DO NOT Lose Heart- v. 1 & 16

- We Renounce DISGRACEFUL & UNDERHANDEDways

- We Refuse to TAMPER with GOD’S WORD

- We OPEN our CONSCIENCE- v. 2

- We SEE The LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL- v. 3-6

- We see SURPASSING Power 2 Cor. 4:7

- Afflicted, perplexed, persecuted, struck down BUT NOT:

- Crushed, Despair, FORSAKEN, DESTROYED

- We will also BE RIASED and BROUGHT- v. 14

- EXTEND Grace and Gratitude- v. 15

- We look to UNSEEN- v. 16-18
