Greetings…
All hail the power of Jesus' name! Let angels prostrate fall. Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown him Lord of all. Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown him Lord of all!
His Name Brings Salvation
His Name Brings Salvation
No Other Name For Salvation
No Other Name For Salvation
All hail the power of Jesus’ name because there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Many men have claimed they have found the path to salvation.
Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment or nirvana.
Zoroaster is said to have been given the revelation from Ahura Mazda about how to find eternal life in the purified world.
Muhammad is said to have been give revelation from Allah about how to reach Paradise (Jannah) after death.
Krishnua of Hinduism is said to have achieved union with Brahman and reached moksha i.e., eternal rest.
However, there evidence is clear, only Jesus’ name can bring actual salvation.
21 She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
21 And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
11 And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
Summary
Summary
What does this mean?
This means no other human can save us.
This means no other religion can save us.
This means no self-effort i.e., works of merit can save us.
It is only the power found in the name of Jesus that can transform lives.
What is another reason we should “all hail the power of Jesus name?”

It Unlocks Divine Intervention
It Unlocks Divine Intervention
When Jesus died on the cross and became the scape goat for us, he opened up a direct pathway back to the Father once again.
50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit. 51 And behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. And the earth shook, and the rocks were split.
19 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, 20 by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh,
19 We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain, 20 where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.
When this happened, one of the great spiritual blessings that came from such was our access to the Father in prayer through Jesus.
13 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.
Don’t get me wrong, in the Old Testament we see people praying to God, God hearing their prayers, and answering them, but that was only possible because God is not bound by time and could hear because of Jesus’ blood and the power of his name going not just forward but backwards (Hebrews 9:11-15).
Now, what Jesus told his disciples, isn’t some magic formula, but an invitation to align our requests with God’s will, by praying through the authority Jesus grants us to access the Father.
We pray “in the name of Jesus” because it is only through Jesus’s authority that we can go to the Father.
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus
Summary
Summary
What does this mean?
It means that Jesus has made it possible for you and I, even as Christians who sin (Isaiah 59:1-2), can have access to the Father and he will hear our prayers.
Lastly, all should hail the power of Jesus name because…
His Name Delivers Us
His Name Delivers Us
From Evil
From Evil
There is only one to have lived a perfect and thus sinless life here on earth and defeated evil, Jesus.
15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.
21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
22 He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth.
5 You know that he appeared in order to take away sins, and in him there is no sin.
Because of this, Jesus has been given all authority in heaven and on earth.
18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.”
This authority means that Jesus’ name drives away evil in this life.
It was visibly done through miracles in the early days.
17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
Today, it is done through submitting to God and his word, which allows us to resist the devil.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

What does this mean?
It means that the addict can over come his addiction through Christ.
It means that the fornicator can overcome his sexual immorality.
It means the liar can stop lying or the thief can stop stealing.
Jesus’ name delivers us from evil.
Conclusion
Conclusion
Yes, brothers and sisters, we should all hail the power of Jesus name.
Let every one of us tremble in awe, excitement, fear, and wonder at the power of Jesus name.
Invitation
1 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear; 2 but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.
6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.
