FINANCIALS
FINANCIALS
We have collected an additional estimate of $90,000 from last years investment disbursement.
We have added Yesmin Farida to an empty spot placed in this year’s budget.
There are a few requests to talk about
but I’ll bring them up as we get to them.
GENERAL
GENERAL
I have given you a few things for prayer
NAMB weekly prayer calendar
Prayer information and calendar for Indore
Request to talk about in a minute.
I mentioned last night about Missionary Care
I have begun to connect with our field personnel
through a secure app.
This way they can give me up to the minute requests
from areas that are not secure.

The application for the visa number will take about 6 months to a year.
and then assigning a visa number to Patricio and his family
will take a total of 5-7 years more.
Since receiving that information
I have sent letters to all three of our NC congressmen
and are currently working with Senator Thom Tillis’s office
to see if the visa application and number
can be expedited somehow.
Joe “Currie” Wells is the Associate pastor of Redemption Fellowship
And I have asked Currie to be the lead person
to train us how to reach the folks in our community.
I’ll talk about it with Currie and his wife next week.
I am asking for the committee to recommend
being prepared to ask Admin to supply Currie
money for travel back and forth.
We can either do this as mileage
and/or expense for wear and tear for his vehicle
as well as a ministry fund set aside for
meals, meetings, etc.
In speaking with Currie about an idea
I had mentioned the idea of revamping the ESL class.
He thought that would be an excellent idea.
There is a an ESL training class coming up February 27-28 in Charlotte.
I am also asking the committee for funds for
the cost of the class for myself and possibly for Currie
the cost is $50 for the class for Currie
I would pay for travel and the hotel expense from my conference line item.
Anyone else that wants to attend is welcome.
Rocky Point Christian Academy
Rocky Point Christian Academy
This isn’t really a missions project but
I wanted to include it to update everyone
All of our inspections have ben finished and passed.
We are awaiting the final letters from Pender County
and then we will file for our letter of intent to open.
Once the letter is out
we can begin to advertise the new school
I’m bringing this to your attention because
there may be a need to help fund
the beginning of the school through the church.
It depends on how many students are enrolled and
when they become enrolled.
There is a need to purchase curriculum ahead of time
a need to support teachers and assistants for the first month.
So there may be an opportunity to help the school out.
Pender Sports
Pender Sports
Pender Sports is not just a youth ministry thing
this is an opportunity to outreach to the community
I was in my doctor’s office the other day
and one of the nurses said she knew about our church
because her daughter plays softball with Trask.
She was very grateful for the church
for providing the meals for the girls.
Softball has already begun practicing.
I’ve included the schedule for all the games.
Typically we’ll do the away games only.
With Luke and Hanna expecting
we’ll need some extra help beginning in March.

The team left this morning.
Ronnie had an issue in Clinton and had to stop.
Morrisville
Morrisville
I got to thinking,
if we can do disaster relief every other month
why couldn’t we take a trip to Morrisville
to establish relationships and contacts
every other month as well.
Here are the proposed dates for the events
2/7, 4/11, 6/20, 8/15, 10/3, 12/12

I am working with Kody to finalize a date to bring a team there.
He gave me two options and we get to choose
The first date would be end of June
This is the time for the St. Peter’s festival.
The other time would be in the Fall.
We would be helping with outreach specific things.
We may be helping with things around the church as well.
It depends on who is going.
I did have a request from Kody as well.
As you may be aware
a church in Minneapolis had protestors come in
and invade their service yesterday.
Kody and his church have begun a food bank
and he was already going through security training
much like we are
for his church.
He has a couple of officers in the church
who are building out a security team
but have had a couple of sketchy people that have shown up
for the new food pantry they have started.
He has given me a detailed cost list for the security they are looking to purchase.

Our Opportunity: Washington DC Mission Trip
March 17-21, 2026
The total cost to go is $200.
The real cost is about $485, but because of the missions fund
the trip has been reduced to just $200.
Itinerary: It is 3 days mission work and one day sight-seeing before returning home.
We will leave after lunch on Tuesday March 17
to drive our hotel in Virginia
where we will be spending the next 4 nights.
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday-
We will meet each morning for worship, prayer,
and simple EV training for reaching out to Muslims especially,
and touching on engaging Hindus also.
We will eat lunch and supper in South Asian restaurants.
South Asian food is delicious!
Then in the afternoons we go in groups of 3
engaging South Asians.
In Northern Virginia this will include a lot of
entering restaurants and shops
engaging South Asians working, shopping and living life.
Also, this timing will be near or at the end of Ramadan
which will coincide with celebrations
among the Muslim population where they give gifts.
There will be opportunities for us to knock on doors
and offer bibles and literature.
Saturday-We have tickets for the Museum of the Bible.
After that, each vehicle is free to travel back to Wilmington.
This is an international trip without a passport!
Not just the work of sharing the gospel
but the training that will be provided is invaluable.

Nepal
I will be headed to Nepal from February 10-19.
While there I will be staying at the IMB guest house
with 11 others from the US
including Dr. Cloer, and two others from our Network.
I am requesting to take $500 with me for expenses
That may include visa upon arrival
any incidentals that may come up
and a donation to a missionary.
I’m also in need of a prayer team.
I’m asking for people to pray once a week until the day I leave.
Once there, please pray on a daily basis.
If that’s you and you are willing to pray
I will set you up on the secure app that I have
to be able to communicate to you what happens each day
and specific prayer requests I have while there.
Indore
Indore
As many may know
last year we connected with a family from Indore
Clint & Kristen Barefoot, Joshua & Sarah
Last year we supported Clint through his business
this helps keep him onm the field
and averts the visa processing when he has to leave
for various reasons.
The cost is $1200
Because He is IMB, we already support his family
through Lottie Moon and the Cooperative Giving
However, like Kody, we chose to support projects they may have.
