The whole book of Philippians will be used for this series, quoting scripture throughout the entire book.

James 1:22 ESV

The book of James gives a more practical guide on how to live out Scripture in daily life. It was a more down-to-earth book, written not to the religious elite. It was written to the people that were suffering under religious persecution (Jewish Christians).
The main theme: people should be doers, not just hearers of God’s Word.

James, the brother of Jesus, writes the book of James. However, not even his brothers believed in Him while he was on Earth (John 7:5).
