Intro

Acts 26:28 “Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.”
Almost saved is completely lost, Agrippa was close, but he was unwilling to obey and change his life
There are many, some even here with us today who are almost persuaded...almost saved...almost obedient...almost in heaven.
Almost has never saved a soul. Almost doesn’t forgive sins. Almost doesn’t put you in Christ. Almost still ends in hell.
Almost Obedient
Agrippa believed, but was unwilling to obey Acts 26:27
Many of the Pharisees believed in Christ but wouldn’t obey! John 12:42
Almost does not avail, almost is but to fail, sad, sad that bitter wail, almost, but lost. Hebrews 5:8—9; 2 Thess 1:7—9; Rom 6:3—5
Almost Committed
Some have obeyed Christ, yet fall short due to sin. 1 Corinthians 6:9—11
Some have become hardened in their own sin. Hebrews 3:7—15
God doesn’t need sinless perfection, but He does need consistent obedience. Revelation 3:15—16
Almost Time
Some think they will get it all right in the future. Acts 24:24—25
Some are focused on life, and not God; they will always run out of time. Luke 12:16—21
Some know to do good, and don’t do it those people will always run out of time. James 4:13—17
Invitation
Almost...
Repented
Confessed
Baptized
Saved
Lived Faithfully
Matthew 7:21—23
Heaven will not be filled with almost Christians
You have heard the truth
You believe the truth
You feel the truth
But feeling is not enough
Almost is still lost
IF you believe Jesus is God in the flesh, that you are in sin, will you leave here forgiven, or almost persuaded?
