We have ignored the race
Hit the pause button
Replaced caring for other believers with our grandchildren
Slowly over time we have starting looking forward to the rewards of our Kingdom and not His Kingdom.
We have gone from the prayer in Matthew 6:9-10 that says Our Father in Heaven hollowed be your name, Your kingdom come your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven
9 Pray then like this:
“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
10 Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven. 1
To Lord bless my kingdom and bless my retirement so I will get what I deserve and have the break from the hustle an time to relax.
This type of thought process....
We are going to have to account for what we do with out time AND money. The account will have to be settled
Matt 25:19
19 Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them.
You do not want to be in the line in Heaven where you are explaining what happened at the end of your life.
You do not want to hear the Father say... And I will declare I never knew you Matt 7:23
We are called to lead...
We are not called to stand aside for the next generation.
Mentors
Elders
Deacons
Led by women
The younger generation no longer looks up...
They are following the younger men who are false leaders. They quote Scripture and twist it into a false teaching but they are passionate.
