P a s t o r N o l o
When you enjoy something you have a feeling of
happiness, satisfaction and enjoyment.
This is meant to be the s a m e thing in our walk.
H e a v i n e s s
Feeling sorrowful, walking in condemnation and
feeling heavy in your walk.
There are many symptoms to show that you're
dragging your feet in your walk but you're not
really all there your feeling heavy almost all the
time.
H e r e s s o m e :
Only walking cause you want to get to heaven
not wanting to have a relationship with Jesus.
Only walking because you don't want to look like
a hypocrite.
Only walking cause you're scared of what others
will think.
Only coming because you might not go to hell if
y o u c o m e .
Only coming because you feel obliged.
You feel condemned almost every second day.
Always feeling guilty because of the mistakes
you've done or what you could of done better.
The reason why we can feel this way is because
we are walking with the wrong intentions or
always thinking of the negative things and the
mistakes that you've done or what YOU can do
and never thinking of what Christ has done and
what he can do.
Never focusing on Christ, always on your
problems.
1 J o h n 5 : 1 - 4
1 Whoever believes that J e s u s is the Christ is
born of God, and whoever loves the Father loves
the child born of Him. 2 By this we know that we
love the children of God, when we love God and
observe His c o m m a n d m e n t s . 3 For this is the
love of God, that we keep His commandments;
and His c o m m a n d m e n t s are not b u r d e n s o m e . 4

the world--our faith.

not grievous or burdensome.
Our walk is meant to be Joyful.
John says J e s u s commandments are not
burdensome or heavy or hard to do. He's right its
not hard but its when you choose to sow to the
flesh and lose focus it will get hard.
Sometimes we still get confused of why we are
heavy in our walks with God but its simple... loss
of focus, dwelling on flesh and problems.
Let me ask you guys something, have we
forgotten what the Lord has done for us?Have
we forgotten why we started walking in the first
place?
I Ask this b e c a u s e if his c o m m a n d m e n t s a r e n o t
heavy and everyones finding it hard and
dragging their feet... are we walking the way we
should be walking with God?
Somethings not right here. Have we even
replaced our focus on God with something else?
We have to check ourselves. I don't want to
stand here and preach about trials or challenges
cause that part of our walk that will never
change but when we focus on that and not on
Christ... everything all of a sudden gets heavy.
|\Testimony\\
Challenged every single day big or small its still
not my identity its still not my focus.
can't do anything about some things just move
on.
disappointing people so you feel heavy
Pleasing people or yourself you didn't wake up
to please people or to make yourself happy
where is that in the bible?
you did something you didn't like or made a
mistake, who said you had to please yourself?
you only wake up to please God. He is al ways
well pleased with you cause your his child.
H e b r e w s 1 2 : 1 - 3
1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed
about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us
lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth
so easily trap us, and let us run with patience
the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto
Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who
for the joy that was set before him endured the
cross, despising the shame, and is set down at
the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For
c o n s i d e r h i m t h a t e n d u r e d s u c h contradiction of
sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and
faint in your minds.
Lay aside the weight and sin that easily traps us.
Consider! m e a n s Think about it ! look at the
example Jesus set! Jesus endured the cross
despised the shame! so he could do what he
w a s called to do.
For us the cross is willingness to deny ourselves
and for us despising the shame is thinking little
of the unfortunate situation.
so that we can run the race properly not as if its
a burden but so we can run it joyfully.
M a t t h e w 1 1 : 2 8
Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-
laden, and I will give you rest.
Why am i not rested? Maybe we need to come
unto Christ.
J o h n 8 : 3 6
So if the Son makes you free, you will be free
indeed.
Nature of The Walk.
Nature is what something is or what should be
happening normally with something.
Psalm 40:16
et all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You;
et those who love Your salvation say
continually, "The LORD be magnified!"
everyone that seeks the Lord should be rejoicing
in him and saying the Lord be lifted up!
Phillipians 4:4
rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say,
rejoice!
Paul the Apostle tells us to rejoice in the Lord
always.

trial which is to try you, as though some strange
