Daniel set himself apart

Have you ever been in a situation where you had to choose between doing something contrary to God word? To do something that was unethical?

Daniel set his heart to not defile himself. There was no guarantee that he would prevail, but he he intended to do the right thing.

Because of Daniel heart GOD brought him into favour. 

Daniel 1:8–9 “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into favor and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.”

Verse 12, Daniel issues a challenge. This was an example of the Wisdom of Daniel.

Daniel set up his friends for success. He didn’t leave them behind. What about today how can we infiltrate the world today.

Daniel 2:3-11 The king wanted to know his dream but no one could tell him the dream in his head. Do you now the GOD is the only one who can reveal the secret things of the heart. The enemy does not know them. By indwelling of his Spirit GOD is able to send you encrypted messages over a secure line that will benefit you and no can hinder it. 

Daniel 3: 16-22

A few things are happening here that are keys to their victory.

They declared what God will do

God’s name and reputation was at stake. The Lord wants the smoke”

The young men refuse to disobey GOD even in the face of adversity. 

The LORD protects his name. For sake of their stance before the King, the LORD delivered them.

They made a declaration - GOD is able to deliver us.

Nebuchadnezzar knew the GOD of Heaven as a revealer of secrets, but he did not know him a deliverer. 

 The other men were slain, it was if GOD was saying...yeah this is real fire. No parlor tricks here.

Were they bound?

Did their mightest strongest guys take hold of them?

Were they thrown in the fire?

They went in bound but loosed in the fire. ver 25

The Lord was the first to coin the phrase snitches get stitches or better snitches get lions.

If you want to succeed learn to server faithfully. Those in position love and protect those that protect them.
