"The best sermon is never spoken but lived" is a widely recognized principle—often attributed to Saint Francis of Assisi's, "Preach the Gospel at all times, and if necessary, use words"—emphasizing that actions, integrity, and daily conduct are more persuasive testimonies of faith than words alone.
This concept emphasizes that people often forget what is said, but they do not forget how one lives. It suggests that the most effective way to share faith is to "walk the walk" 168 hours a week, not just on Sundays. Ultimately, a well-lived life acts as a "living proof" that one's faith is genuine.

Transition To Body- Timothy, Paul’s True Child In The Faith

1 Timothy 1:2 ESV
2 To Timothy, my true child in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

True-

Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament based on Semantic Domains 73.1 γνήσιος, α, ον; γνησίως

pertaining to possessing purported good character or quality—‘genuine, real.’

Concern Over People Departing From The Faith

1 Timothy 4:1–5 ESV
Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared, who forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer.
1 Timothy 4:6–10 ESV
6 If you put these things before the brothers, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, being trained in the words of the faith and of the good doctrine that you have followed. 7 Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness; 8 for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. 9 The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance. 10 For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.

Timothy’s Issue Is he is not Paul & top matters off Timothy is young!

The Compass Guiding Your Decisions (What’s Done When Nobody’s Watching)

Integrity is the firm adherence to a strict moral or ethical code, characterized by honesty, consistency, and wholeness of character, often defined as "doing the right thing even when no one is watching". It involves aligning actions with stated values, fostering trust, and enhancing personal reputation. A lack of integrity leads to damaged relationships, mistrust, and guilt.
Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament based on Semantic Domains 88.29 ἁγνεία, ας; ἁγνότης, ητος

Proverbs 11:3 ESV
3 The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them.
Proverbs 20:7 ESV
7 The righteous who walks in his integrity— blessed are his children after him!
Psalm 25:4–5 ESV
4 Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. 5 Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.
Psalm 25:8–10 ESV
8 Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. 9 He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way. 10 All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.
Psalm 25:21 ESV
21 May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.

Transition To Close- Keep A Close Watch On Yourself

It Is Said That Cyrus, The Founder Of The Persian By Brent Zastrow
It is said that Cyrus, the founder of the Persian Empire, once had captured a prince and his family. When they came before him, the monarch asked the prisoner, "What will you give me if I release you?" "The half of my wealth," was his reply.
"And if I release your children?" "Everything I possess."
"And if I release your wife?" "Your Majesty, I will give myself."
Cyrus was so moved by his devotion that he freed them all.
As they returned home, the prince said to his wife, "Wasn’t Cyrus a handsome man!" With a look of deep love for her husband, she said to him, "I didn’t notice. I could only keep my eyes on you-
-the one who was willing to give himself for me."
Copied from Sermon Central
1 Timothy 4:16 ESV
16 Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers.

Close- Jesus (Our Greeat High Priest) Was Despised & Rejected By Men

Isaiah 53:1–6 ESV
1 Who has believed what he has heard from us? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? 2 For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Tempted As We Are, Yet Without Sin

Hebrews 4:14–16 ESV
14 Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
