What Burns Inside
We cannot fulfill or even find our purpose without the burning fire of God inside us.
We cannot understand or live the abundant life with the absence of the fire of God in us!
The Fire of God in us has the amazing power to sanctify us. It purifies us and our motives.
The fire of God burns out all impurity's. Is keeps us balanced and focused
It is sad to see people not burning with a fire inside. or burning for the wrong things.
“I came to cast fire on the earth, and would that it were already kindled! I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how great is my distress until it is accomplished!
This verse demonstrates the importance of the fire of God to be in us. Jesus recognized the importance. Jesus recognizing the effects of not being baptized in the fire!
John the baptist had already prophesied about Jesus baptizing in fire.
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Jesus did send us the counselor, comforter.. the Holy Spirit that should be burning in our hearts!
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Jesus sent them the Holy Spirit
Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.
The work of the Spirit is to Help teach and bring to remembrance things we need to remember.
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
The spirit is Truth and will also Guide us to All truth. Doesn’t speak of his own authority but will tell us about things to come.
However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
The Holy Spirit is to Dwell in us! In our hearts Its the burning fire of God
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
