Introduction

Divine Delays are Beautiful but Human Delays can be Costly

Acts 22:17–19

Acts 22:21

Make haste was not a suggestion, but a command. Had Paul continued arguing and delayed he would have missed God’s protection.

Delay:  postpone or defer (an action) be late or slow; loiter  make (someone or something) late or slow

Procrastinate: delay or postpone action; put off doing something

How Human Delay Gets in the Way (4 Ways)

1.  When we get Too Comfortable

Joshua 18:1–3

2. When we get Too Carefree

Confession

Father God, in this season, I don't want my delays to get in Your way. Help me remove unhealthy delays so I wont cancel any blessings that are headed my way. In Jesus’ name Amen.
