Its your prayers that change the eternal perpective.
have you ever asked the question what if?
What if this didnt happen or what if this happened then what.
In the Jericho miracle!
What if the Israelites had stopped circling on the 6th day?
They would have forfeited the miracle before it happened.
Like a generation before them when they chose to not go because they were as grasshoppers.
Give up too soon, to easily
There is a difference between praying and praying through.
Praying through is all about consistency.
Luke 18:5–7 ESV
yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice, so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.’ ” And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says. And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them?
Praying through is about intensity.
Romans 8:26 AMP
So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.
There are times where God is trying to move you to the next level, the next season, it is going to involve something different, some sacrifice.
This 40 day fast is a sacrifice for some.
Remember you will always get more from God than you ever give.
Sometimes faith seems like the denial of reality, but its not because we are holding onto a reality that goes beyond our 5 senses…
(Story of the house here in Petersburg)
Joshua 6:1–2 NKJV
Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. And the Lord said to Joshua: “See! I have Given DeliveredJericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.
God spoke in past tense not future tense
The battle was won before the battle even began. God had already given them the city…All They had to do was circle the city
So really true faith celebrates before the miracle happens… because yoou know that you know God is going to deliver on the promise.
Sometimes after you pray through you need to quit praying and start praising through
Prayer and Praise are both expressions of faith, but praise is a higher dimension of faith.
Here let me explain:
Prayer is asking God to do something for future tense; praise is believing that God has already done it, past tense.
Im not talking about name it and claim it, blab it snd grab it.
God doesn't do miracles for our selfish whims, but only for one reason to give Him Glory we just happen to be Gods beneficiaries to the miracle!!!!
Prayer has the power to resurrect dreams and give them life.
What Promise do you feel like God has given you, Pray through until you feel like God said its yours then Praise through till it manifests.
(Tell the story about Believing to be Pastor Here, praying through even when district said no, standing on Mark 10:27
Mark 10:27 ESV
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”
The n on that night God said the Pastorate is yours, before the district called, before I met with Pastor Don… I got up and praised even though it had not manifested.
