Ministry of the Apostles Part III 02082026
An honor and a privilege to be with you this morning.
let me go ahead and apologize to I end up turning the mic off. Hopefully, I can turn the mic off in time to cough. I've been a little under the weather all week, so I'm also trying to stay away and Not Shake Hands or anything this morning. So that's why Let me go ahead and invite you to turn in your copy of God's word. With me to Acts chapter 3, Acts chapter 3. If you're using a few Bible, will be on page 1080 to 1080 too. And if you don't own a Bible, we would love for you to feel free to keep that Pew Bible as our gift to you. Acts chapter 3. If the last two weeks we have been looking at this chapter, in a three-part series that I haven't, I told the ministry of the Apostles Pentecost has now passed. The Holy Spirit has come and he has empowered the apostles for the work of the ministry. And Luke now jumps right into showing us the ministry of the Apostles. It will we see here in chapter 3 is that part of their Ministry involved doing miracles signs and wonders? Are they heal a man who had been trained from birth by merely commanding him to get up and the healing as we saw last week was a perfect healing, a clear demonstration of God's power flowing through the apostles. So much so that the man was sleeping and jumping and praising God, that he had never even walked a single day in his 40-year play. Life. In this morning, we will see that do Miracles, often accompany the apostles Ministry yet. They have a very specific and clear purpose. Let's go ahead and begin Now by reading or text. And for the last time I'd like, for us to read the whole chapter is, so let's start in verse 1. We're God's. Holy word, which he has spoken to us here, through the pain of Luke reads.
Now, Peter and John, we're going up to the temple at The Hour of Prayer, the ninth hour and a man lame from birth was being carried whom they laid daily at the Gate of the temple that is called the beautiful gate to ask home. So those entering the temple seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple. He asked to receive alms and Peter directed his gaze at him after John and said, look at us and he fixed his attention on them. Expecting to receive something from them. But Peter said I have no silver and gold but what I do have I give to you in the name of Jesus, Christ of Nazareth. Rise up and walk and he took him by the right hand and raise him up and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong and leaping up. He stood and began to walk and enter the temple with them walking and leaping and praising God. And all the people saw him, walking and praising God, and recognized him as the one who had sat at the beautiful gate of the Temple. Braum's, and they were filled with wonder and amazement that what had happened to him while he clung to Peter and John all the people out early astounded. Ran together to them in the Portico called Solomon's. And when Peter saw it, he addressed the people. Men of Israel. Why do you wonder at this? Or why do you stare at us as though by our own power of piety? We have made him walk, the god of Abraham, the god of Isaac, and the god of Jacob, the god of our fathers glorified, his servant Jesus whom you delivered over and denied in the presence of pilot when he had decided to release him. But you denied the holy and righteous one and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, and you killed the author of Life. Whom God raised from the dead to this, we Are Witnesses in His Name by faith in. His name, has made this man, strong whom you see and know in the face that is through. Jesus has given the man, this perfect health in the presence of you all. And now, Brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance is did also your rulers but would God foretold by the mouths of all the prophets that his Christ would suffer and does, and he does for filled repent. Therefore, and turn back that your sins, may be blotted out that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord and that he may send the Christ appointed for you. Jesus going to Heaven, Must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago. Most of the Lord, God will raise up for you. A prophet like me from your brother's, you shall listen to him and whatever he tells you and it shall be that every soul who does not listen to that. Profit shall be destroyed from the people in all the prophets who have spoken from Samuel and those who came after him also proclaimed these days. You are the sons of the prophets and if the Covenant that God made with your father saying to Abraham and in your Offspring shall all the families of the earth, be blessed, God, having raised up his servant sent him to you first to bless you by turning. Every one of you from your wickedness. Let's pray.
Father, We Gather this morning.
A privileged and blessed people.
Privileged and blessed.
Because you have lavished your love upon us.
The we did not deserve it.
The, we have not earned your favor.
Do we have no right to demand it? Yet you in your mercy.
Have lavished us with your love.
Do we have strayed every one of us like sheep?
yet, you have gathered us in. And change this.
And as we saying this morning, may this journey be a blessing. and at the end of it, With your likeness. Let me wake. Probably make us more like Christ. And we pray that you would bless the preaching of your word this morning. To those very ends. Sanctify us as your people.
Do the heart work. In us that only you through your word can do. By the power of the Holy Spirit.
We pray this in Jesus name, amen.
Listen to our definition of miracle, one more time. A miracle is quote, an extraordinary Act of God that transcends, the normal course of nature functioning as a sign to the audience, pointing them to God's identity, Authority and Redemptive purposes. That was so far we have considered the fact that it is a miracle is an extraordinary Act of God that transcends. The normal course of nature. This man an extra 3 was healed. He was healed in a manner, in which they humanly impossible was made possible. The bending of the natural law. By the bookstore of the natural log took place. God intervened and miraculously healed this man through the apostles. but notice now, That a miracle also has the purpose of functioning as a sign. Pointing the witnesses to who God is to his authority. It's his Redemptive purposes. It's a notice our second main heading. Now message message. The purpose of any Miracle is to pave the way for the delivery of God's message verse 11, while he clung to Peter and John all the people out early astounded, ran together to them in Port in the Portico called Solomon's and when Peter saw it, he addressed the people. When Peter saw it at that moment, Peter recognize that God had provided an opportunity for him to preach the gospel to these Jews within the temple grounds. That was a purpose for that. Healing in God's will for that miracle.
No Solomon's Portico, it was a large covered walkway. On the east side of the temple. It is said to have had two isleworth of large columns that we're about, 27 ft high, and ran the length of the temple wall in about $1,000, or more than 1000 people could fit in this area, which was an area that was commonly used as a public forum and this is where rabbis would gather to teach their disciples. This is where theological discussion, and Theological debate took place in this would come to be as well as we will see later on in the book of Acts a gathering place for the early church for Christians to come together. To offer their public worship to Jesus. Jesus himself taught publicly and tell him, it's horrible. It's a, we read, for example, and John 10 verses 22 through 24, at that time, the Feast of dedication took place at Jerusalem, it was Winter and Jesus was walking in the temple in The Colonnade of Solomon. So, the Jews gathered around him and said to him, So he is sad that point in John chapter 10 Challenge theologically and he responds at that point in Solomon's Portico by publicly teaching that he and the father are one and that no one can snatch his select out of his hand to which the religious leaders respond by picking up stones and trying to Stone him and by trying to arrest them. But he evades their attempts because it was not yet his time This was an area commonly known for theological teaching, and debate and Peter and John have now attracted the crowds with the miracle, they've performed in Peter, begins to address. The people, they have been drawn in through the means of the miracle and now. Moved Beyond The Miracle to the message. This is something that we see with every miracle in scripture not that every Miracle has followed with a verbal message, but every Miracle is meant to point to a Divine truth.
Listen to how one lexicon puts it when speaking of signs wonders and miracles. Because if you recall, that we looked during our first message in this chapter, I thought you were the three words that are interchangeably use for a miracle throughout the scriptures. Excuse me, science wonders, and miracles. Quote this Trio signs, understand Miracles. Underscores that I wonder is never a mere spectacle. It is a Divine credential that authenticate Scott's message or exposes counterfeit spirituality close quote, It's a Miracles. Authenticate God's message and Messengers. they point to God's Divine Authority, but miracles, in and of themselves were never meant To be trusted as the sole grounds for authenticating. Someone is being sent from God. Moses warns of this himself all the way back in the wilderness. After The Exodus. 20 and Deuteronomy 13 verses 1 through 4 Wii, read this. If a prophet or a dreamer of Dreams A righteous among you and gives you a sign or a wonder that, which is the same thing as a miracle. Remember, those three are interchangeable. In the sign or wonder that he tells you comes to pass. So even if it does happen, even if this really is a miracle, Right. And if he says, let us go after other gods, which you have not known. And he said, let us serve them, you shall not listen to the words of that profit or that dreamer of dreams for the Lord, your God is testing you to know whether you love the Lord, your God with all your heart. And with all your soul, you shall walk after the Lord, your God, and fear Him, and keep his Commandments, and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and hold fast to him. So, a miracle is not sufficient in and of itself to authenticate.
Or validate. But a miracle worker is from God. Is that the message that he brings afterwards is from God?
The additional test. Must follow in that test. Is asking the question. Is the message that this miracle worker is trying to communicate aligned with God's word. Is there a theology? God word. Where are the leading people astray? That's why Doctrine matters because Doctrine is what we must know in order to be able to test as the Apostle, John would put it in first John chapter 4, the spirits So we ought to test the spirits test the prophets, test, the miracle workers with sound Doctrine. And if they fail that test, regardless of how marvelous and wonderful the so-called Miracle is or appears to be
Then we should not listen to them. It is that simple. You are to listen to the scriptures, you or to listen and obey the revealed word of God.
You are to listen to that, which is Spirit, breathe and infallible in. The only thing that we have in existence that meets those qualifications are the scriptures.
But again, a true Miracle is a sign. It is meant to point to God to his authority to validate The Miracle Worker as God's messenger and so to authenticate and authorize. The message that is being delivered. And Detour now addresses the people and Proclaim to them. The message that he has been entrusted with by his sword and what is the message? It's basically the same as the one that he preached at Pentecost, isn't it?
Men of Israel. My Jewish brothers and sisters. And look, look at verse 15. You killed the author of life. Who God raised from the dead to this? We Are Witnesses.
As part of the message.
For the rest of our time. I wanted to focus now on two aspects of what we see in the content of this message. So I told you at the start of this series, we have four main headings, we have looked at miracles. And message the fact that a message is to accompany the miracle. Let me give you the final two headings, which really Encompass, the the content of Peter's message and those are Misfortune and mercy. Misfortune. And mercy. So, let's look at Miss Fortune. Now, by Misfortune, I am not speaking of bad luck. I'm speaking of the definition of misfortune as a disastrous event. Calamity. And that's the bad news that accompanies that precedes the message of the Gospel.
The gospel is good news in the world. Gospel itself means good news. The message of Salvation is the greatest news in the world. But this news, these good news might not make sense to people who don't realize the bad news of their condition without Christ.
If someone would have come up to me, I mentioned in the last 2 weeks, if my blood issues my chronic illness. If somebody would have come up to me back in 2017 before, my blood issue really was diagnosed and they came with a syringe filled with some medicine and told me, I have great news for you. I have a cure for your illness. I would have told them they were crazy. And to keep their good news to themselves. I didn't even know that I was sick at the time. So they're good news would have made absolutely no sense to me.
I had no idea that I had a chronic illness, but a year or two later when I realized my diagnosis was changed to a chronic condition and now that I know those bad news to pay doctor were to tell me tomorrow, I have good news for you. I can cure your illness, it would make sense and that would be great news for me. You see? And that's really the case with the gospel. How can you really appreciate what the gospel is? If you don't understand the problem that it solves,
I like the way one, modern Theologian. Puts it? Car like a parachute. Imagine being on a plane when all the someone all of a sudden someone comes up to you and gives you a backpack and tells you cling to this. This is good news.
What are you going to do? You're going to think the person is crazy. Probably not accept the backpack. You're going to say, no, thanks. I pass.
The good news makes no sense in you, unless you understand, the bad news is. So now that same scenario
But he tells you this backpack is a parachute. The pilots have determined that there is an electrical issue that will cause the plane to crash in the next 30 minutes. Cling to this, it will save your life. Now, you understand. Now you will cling to that backpack, like your life, depends on it because it really does.
You see how it makes a difference. You have to understand the bad news.
That's the same thing with the gospel. Telling someone Jesus can save. You really doesn't communicate the gravity of the situation. They need to understand that they are in a plane that's about to go down.
They need to understand that they have an illness. That is chronic and terminal and you are offering them the Cure.
It's a beater doesn't hesitate. to tell these Jews just that you killed the author of life. You are guilty of his murder, who are a murderer, that is what he's telling them.
He also backs up his claim, spypoint into God's word. Not only are you a murderer. You have offended God, you have gone against his word, his revealed word.
In verse 23, he brings in the scripture warning. That was given by Moses regarding the Messiah. Look at verse 23. And it shall be that every soul who does not listen to that. Profit shall be destroyed from the people. That's the misfortune. That's the calamity. Its destruction, its Eternal punishment. That's very strong language that Peter uses all around.
You're not just that but that's Then followed by the command of the Gospel. Look at verse 19. Repent. Therefore, and turn back that your sins may be blotted out. That's a command.
Repentance in the imperative mood.
And repentance is a necessity if you want your sins to be blotted out.
Sir, Peter Gibson, the bad news. You killed the author of life. If you don't listen, you will be destroyed. If you don't repent, your sins will not be blotted out.
What an ironic statement to isn't it. You killed the author of life.
the author of life and self was killed by the very ones whom he gave life to
But of course, the beauty of the Gospel is that he didn't stay dead. He rose from the grave and threw that he secured the gift of salvation for his people. The bad news is in followed by the good news of the Gospel. Which is if you repent, your sins will be blotted out. If you repent, you will not be destroyed.
If you repent, you will not be separated.
From God. and from his people,
if you repent, you will have eternal life.
and all of that is a gift of God, through the Lord Jesus Christ from his pure mercy and Grace because He is a merciful god.
but if we consider this final heading of Mercy, Mercy. I do want to do so by addressing an issue that I have a growing concern about
And that's regarding the topic of Love, really. Love for all people.
Peter is very strong. With his words here, you killed.
In verse 26, he basically cost them Wicked.
And we saw him telling them, you will be destroyed.
So, you must repent.
Write most of our society today would not consider that to be loving at all.
But the concern I want to bring to your attention is on the flip side effect. It's something that I'm seeing and hearing from some very popular theologians, even some that up to, until recently, I would have aligned with you logically. But they would have firm the strength in the truth of these words for example, that Peter has for these Jews. But but then take the love out of it.
All that to say that there is a growing trend of anti-Semitism, Even in our own conservative Baptist circles that has really taken me by surprise.
And I've been keeping tabs on this for the last 2 years or so. It is really came to the spotlight and has been causing almost a worldwide. stir, if you would, Starting back into in 2024, when someone in Texas started circulating a meme online, if you're not familiar with the name, it's a picture that's supposed to communicate something. And this was a person in the conservative Baptist Church. And I mean, was a picture of a child in a mom, cooking in the kitchen and the child innocently asked a question. Mom, what is the Holocaust? To which the mom answers. It was the one time Jews had to do manual labor. So they claimed it killed them.
And the person who posted that wasn't the pastor of the church. wasn't some well-known Theologian or anything but since then, There has been a growing movement, that is very anti-Semitic. And the pastor of that church in Texas has now fully embraced this unbiblical position. And he's a conference speaker. Has a podcast is a published author and has a growing fan base, which makes it all the more concerning I just a few weeks ago, this is what he said in his podcast. And I won't give you his name and just because I don't even want him to get any more recognition. But speaking of the Holocaust, just a few weeks ago, he said this quote That historical event. It's no mere historical event. It is a religion, it is an ideology. It is a worldview. It is a weaponized to bludgeon. That is that is beat that has beat generation of generation after generation of white young men into believing. They are not allowed to have a future and it's time for Halo costume Hannity false. Wicked satanic religion, to fall and crumble like the idle, that it is,
he asked to that by saying that, Holocaust The Entity. This ridiculous, made-up, turn that he came up with this quote, a more powerful false religion that has had America. My nation in a stronghold, a lot longer and a lot tighter than Islam ever has, or likely ever will close quote.
Beloved. All of that.
All of that. It's just eat butter in pure. Irrational nonsense.
Call the Holocaust of religion.
That has kept young white men oppressed.
It's just a foolish of a statement that is both historically inaccurate and is a Conspiratorial Distortion that lacks any factual basis and Rises to the level of Michael Jackson is still alive conspiracy theories.
And the worst part of it is that their defense of this rhetoric. Is that they claim that they're just being biblical because the New Testament speaks harshly of the juice itself.
But here is what we need to understand.
Are these strong words of rebuke? The Peter has for these Jews. Yes. Are they painful?
You are a murderer. You are wicked, you are going to be destroyed. Are they paying for Words? Yes, they are.
Are they true? Yes, they are.
but,
What's this truth? Proclaimed out of and in love. Absolutely. Absolutely.
When it comes to the gospel. The truth hurts. The truth. It's a defensive. The truth divides. That's what the Bible tells us. And people hate the truth. But we must communicate that offense of Truth and when we do so we must make sure that the motivations of our hearts. Are grounded in love.
Out of a desire to see people come to Christ. So here's a question that we can ask ourselves to help us examine these things in ourselves. And that is,
In our approach in our thinking about people, are we being merciful?
Are we being merciful?
Are we Desiring to and are we extending God's mercy to them?
Are we being? Impartial.
Beloved. Harboring, any kind of partiality in our hearts. It's an offence to the gospel.
It's that simple. Harboring, any kind of partiality in our hearts. It's an offense to the gospel. There's no room in a Christmas heart for any kind of prejudice based on a mutable traits or broad generalizations.
Immutable traits being those things that people can't change like there is necessity or gender. And Broad generalization psych. Muslims are all dangerous people.
Core juice are all liars. Those kind of broad generalizations are flat-out. Contrary to the principles of Truth. They are intellectually dishonest and fundamentally unjust.
James 2, verse 1 and verse 9. My brother's show? No partiality. As you hold the faith in our Lord. Jesus Christ. The lord of Glory. But if you show partiality, you are committing sin in our convicted by the law as transgressors.
And that's something that I call all of us to examine ourselves this morning.
All of us.
Are we harboring any kind of partiality?
Any hate.
Any prejudice.
Towards a group based on their immutable, characteristics are based on some broad generalizations. If so. Then you must repent. Intern from That Tune.
Ask God to help you to love.
Listen to the words of Our Lord. In Luke 6, verses 32 and 33 and then 35 and 36.
If you love those who love you, what benefit is that to you for even Sinners? Love those who love them and if you do good to those who do good to you, what benefit is that to you for even Sinners? Do the same and then versus 35 to 36. But love your enemies and do good in your reward will be great and you will be sons of the most high for. He is kind to The Ungrateful and the evil be merciful even as your father is merciful.
Our desire. For all people. Should be that they come to know the merciful god that we love and serve.
And we should readily be desires to extend that Mercy that has been lavished upon us.
Be merciful.
as your father is merciful, So yes, Peter uses strong language. But notice that it was fueled by Love & Mercy. From the get-go. You get a sense of the respect that he is extending as he addresses these Jews. Look at verse 12. He calls them men of Israel. It's a respectful title. look at 4:17 and now Brothers, Brothers. He doesn't distance himself from them. They are still his brothers in the flesh. And then a 25, he reminds them of the privilege that they have. The favor bestowed, upon them as a people group in God's sight, as part of their Heritage. Look at it first 25, you are the sons of the prophets and of the Covenant that God made with your father's, same to Abraham and then your Offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
now, when it comes to Israel as a nation,
Should we stand with Israel?
When they stand with God, sure. Absolutely.
But where they oppose God we should stand against them and warn them. Just like we would. The leaders of our own Nation.
Just to give you an example of Israel. As a nation is generally considered to be more tolerant and known to be more lgbtq-friendly than even the US.
Even though they don't allow same-sex marriage yet, Tel Aviv isn't known. Worldwide is known as the lgbtq capital. Of the Middle East.
So we stand with them. as we ought to, with any Nation, when they stand on biblical principles, and we stand against them and warn them. When they stand against biblical principles, Weezer no partiality, even for Nations. Because we are Christians and that's what we are called. We are citizens of another kingdom.
but again, the intent of our hearts, in our view towards anybody, Should be that of the scriptures.
In our view, towards the Jews should be that of the scriptures.
I want to, I want to show you this as well. So, if you would turn with me to Romans chapter 9, Romans chapter 9, that's page, 11 23, 11 23 in the Pew Bibles.
1123 Romans chapter 9.
And I invite you to ask yourself.
Does your heart reflect?
Towards the Jews.
Towards any other people group. The heart that is reflected for people here in the scriptures.
Verse 1, the Apostle Paul speaking. I am speaking the truth and Christ. I am not lying. My conscience, Bears me witness in the holy spirit, that I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart for, I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, My Kinsman. According to the flesh, they are Israelites and save them belong. The adoption, the glory, the Covenant, the giving of the law to Worship in the promises to them belong the Patriarchs in from their race. According to the Flash's, the Christ who is God over all blessed forever. Amen.
I wish that I myself where a cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, the juice.
Even if you could change the wording and inserts instead of Brothers, insert Neighbors,
That's how you are called to love your neighbors. We are called to love our neighbors as ourselves. None of us want to be condemned. None of us want to spend eternity in punishment. That's how much we love ourselves and that's how we should love. Others. Considering them as more significant than yourselves Philippians 2:3.
The turn to chapter 10.
Romans chapter 10. Look at verse 1, still. Speaking of the Jews. Paul nail polish writing to fellow Christians. And he says, speaking of the juice, Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for them, is that they may be saved.
That's his heart for them. Is that your heart for them? Is that your heart for the Muslim? Is that your heart for the Buddhist?
Is that your heart for the Indians?
And turn to chapter 11.
And here's where I think these theologians fail to understand the heart of God towards Israel. Because is there a sense in which only those who are in? Christ are true Israel. Yes, absolutely. But even then, even after affirming that reality in chapter 9, because in chapter 9, that's where Paul says, only those who are of Christ are or true is true. So even after affirming that truth Paul writes, this and 11:1 I asked him has God rejected his people by no means for. I myself in a mission in Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of The Tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected his people, whom he foreknew, he then also warns against the arrogance the thinking of the Jews that they rejected people because of their unbelief to then boast about our in grafting, it's a jump to 17.
but if some of the branches were broken off,
And those broken off branches, or juice, right to whom belongs the covenants and the prophets excetera, they were broken off because of their own believe. So he says, but if some of the branches were broken off and you, although a wild all of Chutes were grafted in among the others. And now share in the nourishing root up. The Olive Tree, do not be arrogant toward the branches. If you are remember, it is not you who support the route, but the route that supports you then you will say branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in. That is true, they were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast through faith. So do not become proud, but fear For if God did not spare the natural branches. Neither, will he spare you note then the kindness and the severity of God severity towards those who have fallen, but God's kindness to you provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you two will be cut off and even they if they do not continue in their unbelief will be grafted in for God, has the power to grab them in again for a few were cut off from what is by nature, a wild Olive, Tree and grafted contrary to Nature into a cultivated Olive Tree. How much more will these? The natural branches be grafted back into their own olive tree.
so you see, beloved God still has a special love for Israel. For the issue of light people. Even in their unbelief is their severity against them because of it. Yes. But it's Mercy extended to them through the preaching of the Gospel that some of them might be saved.
Because God himself has reserved a remnant of his own pure grace, and mercy and for his own Glory absolutely. It. So there is no room whatsoever in the Christians, heart in the Christian stinking in the Christians language, for any kind of prejudice based on the mutable trades or broad generalizations. No room whatsoever.
Peter spoke the truth even though it was a painful truth, but he did it out of love in order that he might extend the mercy and the grace of the Gospel to his brothers and sisters in the flesh. The juice.
Be merciful.
Even as your father. Is merciful.
I want to close this morning.
and this chapter,
my reading for verses that point out the beauty, And the reality.
At this beautiful Mercy. Exodus 34:6 the Lord, the Lord God merciful and gracious slow to anger. In a bounding is steadfast love someone or 38. The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger. And abounding, in steadfast love Lamentations 3:22 the steadfast. Love of the Lord, never ceases, his mercies, never come to an end.
Titus 3:5, he saved us. Not because of Works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own Mercy. Salvation is a free gift. And if you have yet to receive it, it is offered to you freely this morning. If you turn from your sins and place your trust. In Christ, the author of Life died and rose again, that he would be able to Grant all kinds of people.
This gift. Returnal life. With him.
And sharing this message of Hope. Is the ministry of the Apostles that we see throughout the Book of Acts. It is a Ministry of Mercy. And we as Christians are called to continue to carry on this ministry.
Because there is a grave misfortune. That comes from being found outside of Christ on that final day, but there is an unending mercy. In and through him. that we ought to share with the world for his glory and for the spread of his kingdom and out of
Father, we
pray.
That you would help us.
You would help us to see. if there be any wrong ways within our thinking, within our hearts, Any prejudices. That we ought to confess and kill.
Help us father to love people.
Give us a desire to go out into this world and proclaim a message that they hate.
even if we have to warn them of the dangers that are ahead, That they may understand their situation.
But they might cling to the solution. Did they make cling to Christ?
For eternal life.
we thank you, Father that No. Greater love. Has anyone than that?
The Christ laid down his life. For his friends. For his sheep. For his people.
Make us more like him.
We pray in Jesus name. Amen. And worship team. Sorry to throw a curve. But could we close with
The love of God again, please.
Let's Stand Together.
