Faithfulness

Malachi 2:15 NKJV
But did He not make them one, Having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring. “Therefore take heed to your spirit, And let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth.
Malachi

Types of Faithfulness

Spiritual Faithfulness

My Commitment to Faithfulness

Lordship - Christ is preeminent (surpassing all other people and things)
Spiritual partnership - grow together in your faith

Sexual Faithfulness

Exclusive devotion to each other! (This includes abstaining from pornography!)
Malachi 2:14–15 NKJV
Yet you say, “For what reason?” Because the Lord has been witness Between you and the wife of your youth, With whom you have dealt treacherously; Yet she is your companion And your wife by covenant. But did He not make them one, Having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring. “Therefore take heed to your spirit, And let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth.

Financial Faithfulness

Live within your means!
Make a commitment to tithe!
Malachi 3:8–10 NKJV
“Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.

Discipline

Measuring and Accountability for Your Commitments

When You Measure You Operate on Facts

Make a Chart to Track Your Progress

Start with an area of strength. For example, if you are strong in financial faithfulness (budget and tithing) track this for a month to see just how strong you are. There may be some areas of improvement even in your area of strength.
Do not neglect any of the areas listed, but get a victory first then move on to the more difficult areas.
