Acts ends with Paul in chains, yet freely proclaiming the gospel of
salvation in Jesus Christ. In these final verses Luke reminds us that gospel
hope is not chained, Christ’s kingdom is boldly proclaimed, and God’s
mission is sustained, calling the church in every generation to carry on the
work of the Great Commission with confidence, perseverance, and hope.
