Hey Tentmakers! It’s Grace again.

Today’s Bible Adventure Story is about holding on to God.

오늘의 스토리는 하나님을 꼭 붙잡는 것에 대한 이야기야.

(00:02)When Jacob was on his way back home, he was scared.

야곱은 집으로 돌아가는 길에 정말 정 두려웠어.

He was terrified that Esau would still be angry with him.

에서가 아직도 자기한테 화난 줄 알아서 엄청 무서워했어.

One night a mysterious man appeared and started wrestling with Jacob.

어느 밤 신비한 사람이 나타나 야곱과 씨름을 하기 시작했어.

after wrestling all night, Jacob held on to the man and said, "I won’t let go unless you bless me.

(00:55) " 밤새 씨름한 뒤에도 야곱은 그 사람을 꼭 붙잡고 말했어. 저를 축복해 주시기 전까지는 절대 놓지 않겠습니다.

The man changed Jacob's name to Israel which means one who struggles with God and overcomes.

그 사람은 야곱의 이름을 이스라엘로 바꿨어. 이스라엘은 하나님과 씨름하여 이기는 사람이라는 뜻이야.

This shows us that sometimes God wants us to hold on and not give up until we receive his blessing.

가끔 하나님은 우리가 포기하지 말고 끝까지 붙잡기를 원하셔. 하나님의 축복을 받을 때까지 끝까지 믿고 붙잡자.
