(00:01) Hi tentmakers.

welcome to another Bible cast video. Today's verses are Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23 and Hebrews 9:27.

오늘의 말씀들은 로마서 3장 23절, 로마서 6장 23절, 그리고 히브리서 9장 27절이야.

in this video I'm going to focus on Romans 3:23.

이 영상에서는 로마서 3장 23절에 집중할 거야.

“For all sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

모든 사람이 죄를 범하였으니 하나님의 영광을 이리지 못하더니

This is a really hard verse.

이 구절은 굉장히 어려운 말씀이야.

It says that none of us are perfect.

단 한 사람도 완벽하지 않다고 말해

that we are weak and fragile.

우리에게 약한 부분도 있고 쉽게 무너질 때도 있다는 거야.

(01:02) And honestly, that's really hard to admit.

사실 이거는 인정하기 쉽지 않아.

We want to think we're good enough on our own.

우리는 혼자서도 잘할 수 있다고 생각하고 싶잖아.

That if we just try harder, everything will work out.

열심히만 하면 다 잘될 거라고.

But this verse tells us the truth.

하지만 이 말씀은 사실을 말해줘.

We can't do it by ourselves.

우리는 혼자서 다 할 수 없어.

And that's okay.

(01:37) 근데 괜찮아.

Because admitting we need help is the first step.

도움이 필요하다고 인정하는게 첫 단계거든.

God already knows that we're not perfect.

하나님은 이미 우리가 완벽하지 않다는 걸 이미 알고 계셔.

He loves you even when you make mistakes.

우리가 실수하고 넘어질 때도 여전히 우리를 사랑해.

What God wants is for us to acknowledge our weakness.

하나님이 원하시는 거는 우리가 우리의 약점을 인정하고

and to go to him for strength.

(02:16) 하나님께 가서 힘을 구하는 거야.
