Welcome to
the Morning Worship
at
College Heights Baptist
on February the twenty-second, 2026
service begins at 10:30 AM
I love you, Lord;
you are my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;
my God is my rock, in whom I find protection.
He is my shield, the power that saves me,
and my place of safety.
I called on the Lord, who is worthy of praise,
and he saved me from my enemies.

Postlude
In the kingdom of God the surest way to lose something is
to try to protect it, and the best way to keep it is to let it go.

Called Business Meeting
TODAY AFTER WORSHIP
The Building and Grounds Committee
will be bringing some important items
concerning the front porch and flower-less
bed. These are in need of upgrading and
this is the time of year to get it done. This
along with the new HAVC system will be
fairly expensive, but need to be done.
It is scarcely possible in most places to
get anyone to attend a meeting where
the only attraction is God. One can
only conclude that God’s professed
children are bored with him, for they
must be wooed to meeting with a stidk
of striped candy in the form of movies,
games and refreshments.

New Church Directories
Virginia Mixer has put together a new
directory so that you can easily contact
members and attenders of CHBC. You
should have received an email with details
as to how to view and download the
online copy. If you would like a booklet
form, let the office know.
One of American Christianity’s most
serious evils may be the sin of sermon
listening. We hear, but we do not act.
God is not basically interested in our
listening to sermons. He wants us to be
living sermons. The church is intended
to be a vibrant, redeeming community
of compassion, service, love, and
worship. It is not a fraternity of fans of
the faith.
