Today is a great day to consider where you are at in the Generosity Journey. (This is a matter of discipleship)

Maybe you have never made a move of generosity today is a great day to start.

Maybe you have but you have not become a consistent tither.. 10% of your income every week

Perhaps today is your day - I have had several people come to me and say…. I was a tither.. but I have struggled to trust and map out my budget to simply do it… It’s time for me to be a consistent tither.

I proud of so many of you who are growing in your generosity journey… NO matter where you are at… we can all grow in this area.

Pastor Plug: Annual Business Meeting

March 4th - 1st Wed of March

We’re going to celebrate what God has done over this last year.

We are going to celebrate the fact that we have grown by about 50 new members this year. We would love all of our new members to be there as we celebrate.

We’ll be electing 2 deacons (Come prayed up for this.

Please read the email that we sent out explaining how the business meeting flow including elections.

Becuase of the Business Meeting… All cultivation classes will pause for this meeting.

Limited childcare for 7 and under

Youth will meet as usual

We have an awesome Guest speaker with us today… Jeffrey and Mary Anderson.

Introduce Speaker Rev. Jeff Anderson

Jeff is A Regional Director of Network Relations for Convoy of Hope for 16 years.

Convoy has been one of our Missionary Partners for long before I was around here… which is well over 11 years.

Convoy of Hope is just that… they bring HOPE to HURTING PEOPLE.

For 30 years, Convoy has worked with churches, businesses, government agencies and other nonprofits to bring help and hope to those in need.

Jeff and his wife Mary are the real deal. They have a very sweet and infectious spirit about them.

I just want you to know that TGP is so excited to to partner with Convoy this year as our Featured Partner.

We’ll as we mentioned the last couple weeks… today we are asking for a

1. 1-time generous offering -

This will go to pay the expenses of our Global impact series, take care of the expenses of our special speakers and sow a significant seed into

Convoy of Hope

and Matthew Salar as they are launching their Islamic outreach Center in Garland to reach Farsi speaking Muslims in the US.

We are also sowing into our community for Go Day next week

As well as a couple other Missions projects

Last year you knocked it out of the park as we raised 30k for missions... I think I had told you 20k last week… becuase its usually our norm… but you have lifted my faith as I reviewed our numbers from last year! I believe we can do the same this year.

***A member challenged me to increase my vision and faith

It will NOT happen unless everyone does something.

It will take several of you to stretch and join my wife and in giving 105k or more in this offering today.

A HOST of you can do 3-500

The rest of you can do 100

I believe Missions is one of the greatest investments we can make into the kingdom

Right… it doest not help us if you take your tithe that funds our general budget and give it to misisons.

The 2nd thing we’ll be asking for is a

1. Faith Promise What is a faith Promise?

A faith promise you are saying... Lord over the next 12 months - by faith we plan to give 50-100--500 or more to missions- so together we can make a global impact.

This is not a bill this is saying..

God… as you provided it.. . we will give it.

Another ways you might be able to give more to missions is because… we believe that “MORE is not always for me “

See… you might get a raise, a bonus, a surprise gift, extra work, capital gains, etc... when that happens for us we should ask God… what do you want me to do with this increase?

It’s through your generosity of the faith promise that we support over 100 missionaries every single month

Krista and I plan to give when it comes to missions… its a line item in our budget just like housing and groceries.

Krista and I believe as we partnered with God in his work around the world, he will take care of all we need right here at TGP.
