Piece of Silver Service that is tarnished.

I found this piece of silver at the thrift store. It doesn’t look like much, does it?  Once I purchased it, it became mine.  It will always be mine.

I can leave it just like it is or I can work on it and make it better, either way it is still mine.

This is how salvation works.  Jesus purchased us. We may not look like much, but once he purchased us we belong to him forever.  Even if we stay just like we are, we are his.  We can either stay the same or we can shine for Christ.
