Opening Scripture:
Opening Scripture:
He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.”
The “mustard seed” was a common Jewish proverb for something extremely small. Rabbinic literature uses it similarly
The Greek word used here is σίνεπι (sinepi), referring to black mustard (Brassica nigra), a plant common in Galilee.
Though the seed is tiny (1–2 mm), once it germinates, black mustard plants routinely grow 6–12 feet tall, tall enough to resemble a small tree when mature.
Importantly, mustard was considered a wild, invasive plant—farmers avoided planting it in gardens because it could take over the entire space.
God calls us to plant small — Because He knows that He is going to produce something huge!
Your Vision might be big but will always start off small — God loves a humble beginning
In God whatever starts off small will always blooms into something big and beautiful
God has called us to do 2 things 1) Be Fruitful and 2) Multiply!
Whatever is NOT planted correctly will NOT grow correctly.
The Size of Your Faith Matters
The Size of Your Faith Matters
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
It takes small faith to plant a BIG Vision!
What starts off small will bloom into something BIG!
The more you put your faith to work the more it grows!
Faith that is NOT put to work is dead “Faith without works is dead”.
When your Faith is connected to God — IT will ALWAYS produce life!
The Small Thing That Defeats The Giants
The Small Thing That Defeats The Giants
Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd’s bag and, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine.
David chose five stones to throw at Goliath (The Giant) that was standing in his way from stepping into his purpose.
All of the warriors of Israel were intimidated by the giant (Goliath)… The ones who did step up to Goliath ended up getting killed.
When you connect your purpose to God you will ALWAYS overcome the giants
What five stones is God calling us to use to defeat the Spiritual Giants that are standing in our way?
Prayer: Pray with out ceasing — Let prayer be apart of your daily rhythm
Worship: Worship Frequent not just with the words you speak or the songs you sing but by your actions —- Obedience is better than sacrifice.
Discernment: Correctly identify who or what the Giants are in your path
Surrendering: Being fully submissive to the will of God —- Letting go of your will completely for the will of God.
The Word of Truth: Standing firm upon God’s word and proclaiming truth when the enemy tries to sow seeds of lies…
It only takes one stone to hit the target but the five are STILL Necessary!!
God’s Power Is Perfect
God’s Power Is Perfect
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Even in the midst of dealing with our human weaknesses God is ABLE!
Whenever I am NOT God is STILL Able!
It is the perfection of Christ that dwells in us through the Holy spirit that enables us to reach that level of perfection
God’s Grace is more than enough —- It will sustain us!
When you go to plant the seed of your vision you will definitely go through some hardships
The Hardships helps us identify what path we are on
The more severe the hardship the closer you are to your blessing!
Your Next Steps
Your Next Steps
Plant The Seed That God Has Given You: Write down one seed God is calling you to plant this week — an idea, a step, a conversation, a habit, a ministry, a discipline — and take the first step before the day ends.
Put Your Faith To Work Daily: Choose one area where you’ve been passive, and take a bold faith‑step: make the call, start the plan, confront the fear, pray the prayer, or step toward the vision.
Pick up your five stones and face your giant: Identify the giant you need to confront this week (fear, doubt, addiction, insecurity, complacency, distraction, sin) and choose one stone to use immediately.
Rely on God’s Strength, NOT Your Own: Pray daily: “Lord, Your grace is enough. Your strength is made perfect in my weakness. I surrender the process to You.” Then move forward knowing that God is carrying you where your strength cannot.
