MENS’ CONFERENCE -
RECAP:
Importance of Vision:
Proverbs 29:18 (KJV )
18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Proverbs 29:18 (NLT)
18 When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful.
Our VISION REINS our MINDS back in to FOCUS on what we called to do -
If our MINDS become SCATTERED we will run around, uncertain and unclear… If you take LIGHT and you focus it on one POINT you can burn through metal - its called a LAZER.…
What is VISION = Picture of a desired Future.
Our Pastor always says - “The quality of your VISION will determine the quality of your FUTURE”
Habakkuk 2:2–4 (NKJV)
2 Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. 4 “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.
POSSITION OURSELVES - SEE IT
WRITE IT DOWN - MAKE IT VISABLE
WAIT - DELAY IS NOT DENIAL
LIVE BY FAITH - BELIEVE IT
Today I want to continue in the vain of VISION -
To have a successful VISION
SEE it, BELIEVE it, POSSESS it -
TEXT:
The Lord had a VISION for Isreal that He promised Abraham - That He would give them a promised land...
God delivers them out of Egypt brings them to Himself and tells them to stop camping on at this mountain and take their Journey to POSSESS the land of which He promised their forefathers.
Numbers 13:17–33 (NKJV)
17 Then Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said to them, “Go up this way into the South, and go up to the mountains, 18 and see what the land is like: whether the people who dwell in it are strong or weak, few or many; 19 whether the land they dwell in is good or bad; whether the cities they inhabit are like camps or strongholds; 20 whether the land is rich or poor; and whether there are forests there or not. Be of good courage.
And bring some of the fruit of the land.” Now the time was the season of the first ripe grapes. 21 So they went up and spied out the land from the Wilderness of Zin as far as Rehob, near the entrance of Hamath. 22 And they went up through the South and came to Hebron; Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the descendants of Anak, were there. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.) 23 Then they came to the Valley of Eshcol, and there cut down a branch with one cluster of grapes; they carried it between two of them on a pole. They also brought some of the pomegranates and figs. 24 The place was called the Valley of Eshcol, because of the cluster which the men of Israel cut down there. 25 And they returned from spying out the land after forty days. 26 Now they departed and came back to Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel in the Wilderness of Paran, at Kadesh; they brought back word to them and to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land. 27 Then they told him, and said: “We went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. 28 Nevertheless the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover we saw the descendants of Anak there. 29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the South; the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan.” 30 Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.” 31 But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.” 32 And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. 33 There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”
SERMON: ATTITUDE!!!
Your ATTITUDE will determine your ALTITUDE...
How HIGH you wanna go in life will be determined by the ATTITUDE you have…
God has a great future instore for all of us… a promise waiting, but it is not void of GIANTS -The BIGGEST giant you will need to face in life, the biggest mountain we need to scale - is the ONE between our ears…
If we lose the battle between our ears we have lost the battle in the natural…
The devil knows, that if he can conquer you in your mind, he has already won the battle…
For as a man thinkest in his heart so he is...
We were like grasshoppers in our own sight…
Isreal LOST the battle in their MINDS before they even attempted to take POSSESSION...
GOD CAN HAVE THE GREATEST VISION FOR YOU -BUT you can LACK and ATTITUDE of WE ARE ABLE…
Part of you seeing your VISION come to Pass this year is - having an ATTITUDE adjustment…
A POSSESSING ATTITUDE, A WE ARE ABLE ATTITUDE, AN OVERCOMING ATTITUDE, A COURAGIOUS ATTITUDE...
Numbers 14:24 (NKJV)
24 But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it.
1 John 5:4(NKJV)
4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
Romans 8:37 (NKJV)
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
SOMETHING have to SHIFT in our HEARTS - before it SHIFTS our MINDS…
Joshua 1:1–9 (NKJV)
1 After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, it came to pass that the Lord spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying: 2 “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel. 3 Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. 4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory. 5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. 6 Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. 7 Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
