Intro

Jesus is with his disciple and they have just crossed the see to reach Gerasenes. On their way there a storm arose that scared everyone on the boat. Jesus was sleep on the boat while it seemed to everyone else that the end was near. They frantically woke Jesus up, then Jesus spoke to the winds and the sea and commanded them to be at peace. Witnessing that had to be breath taking. Again Jesus openly shows He is not just a regular man. When he says something will be, it will be. He said they were going to the other side and he meant just that. Nothing was going to stop them because what we will come to find out in today’s sermon, is that Jesus was on a mission. He had work to do on the island.
