In the book of Proverbs, friendship can be characterized by the following

Its different than family, Co-workers, mentoring. The bible is emphatic that a few close friends are better than a host of acquaintances, and stand in a class by themselves.
True Friendship endures.
Especially now and when, its important to know you can’t give up on friends. To love friends even when there not lovable. Remember all times are not just for fun times. A friend is a treasure, there are no perfect friends.
3. Friends go 2 ways, its back and fourth, a friend speaks heart to heart. A true friend takes thing seriously.
4. A true friend can be trusted even when they wound you. remember iron sharpens iron, are your friends making you sharper or duller? Its important to first be able to trust a friends words before you can trust them with a wound. Tell the truth to each other . Lets start to heal those wounds we have!
5. Keep taking them, Your meant to have close friends. We can always go to God with the big stuff. The church is filled up with flawed people, lets cover them with some dignity. don’t tell secrets, be a trusting, worthy friend.
