Introduction

What is the most important thing in your life?
example of toys and presents that are now in garbage
What brings us real joy?
PERSECUTION WITH JESUS WILL BRING MORE JOY THAN HAPPINESS WITHOUT HIM

1. The gospel of Jesus will never be stopped.

From the time of Jesus’ death. The world thought they could shut the gospel down by persecuting Christians. This persecution only served to be a megaphone for God’s glory. It was true in Paul’s situation every time.
His reply in persecution became a sermon.
Opposition leads to Opportunity

2. The gospel of Jesus never Changes.

The gospel cannot change. It must always be true and constant. how the message is deliver can change as long as it is being delivered.
It is not always best to be critical.
A false Gospel must always be stopped

3. The gospel of Jesus never fails.

Paul says he can still rejoice because of two reasons. The prayers of men
prayers matter
and the deliverance of God

4. The gospel of Jesus gives us hope.

Paul is in a dilema He would be delivered in heaven but wants to continue serving
its cotton candy and a soft place. Win Win

5. The gospel of Jesus gives us the opportunity to be worthy.
