HOW TO BUILD UNSTOPPABLE FAITH
HOW TO BUILD UNSTOPPABLE FAITH
Livestream Title: Faith Is Built — Not Borrowed
Livestream Title: Faith Is Built — Not Borrowed
Core Scriptures:
Romans 10:17
Luke 17:5–6
Joshua 1:8
Proverbs 4:20–23
Matthew 8:5–13
Key Idea:
Faith grows intentionally through discipline, meditation, obedience, and revelation of authority.
INTRODUCTION — FAITH IS DEVELOPED, NOT DISTRIBUTED
INTRODUCTION — FAITH IS DEVELOPED, NOT DISTRIBUTED
There is a measure of Faith given by God, but what you do with the despot matters
For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.
The Talents in the Parable of the talents where given once, then wha the servants did after caused the growth
Some people are waiting for God to “give them more faith.”
But Scripture shows us something different.
Romans 10:17:
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Faith does not come by:
Waiting
Crying
Wishing
Personality
Genetics
Faith comes by hearing.
That means faith is predictable.
If you increase your intake of the Word, you increase your faith.
Unstoppable faith is cultivated faith.
Smith Wigglesworth said:
“Great faith is the product of great fights. Great testimonies are the outcome of great tests. Great triumphs can only come out of great trials.”
— Smith Wigglesworth, Ever Increasing Faith
Faith is strengthened under pressure when it is built on the Word.
I. FAITH GROWS IN AN ENVIRONMENT OF THE WORD
I. FAITH GROWS IN AN ENVIRONMENT OF THE WORD
Romans 10:17
Joshua 1:8
Joshua 1:8:
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night… for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
Notice the divine pattern:
Word in your mouth
Word in meditation
Word in action
Success follows
The Word creates the atmosphere faith requires.
Biblical Example: Abraham
Biblical Example: Abraham
Romans 4:18–21 says Abraham:
Considered not his own body
Did not stagger at the promise
Was fully persuaded
How?
Because God spoke.
Genesis 15:5 — God showed him the stars.
God gave him something to meditate on.
Faith grows where promise is rehearsed.
II. MEDITATION MOVES THE WORD FROM HEAD TO HEART
II. MEDITATION MOVES THE WORD FROM HEAD TO HEART
Proverbs 4:20–23
“Keep your heart with all diligence…”
The heart is the production center of faith.
Jesus said in Mark 11:23:
“…and does not doubt in his heart…”
Meditation implants conviction.
Biblical Example: David
Biblical Example: David
David didn’t just randomly attack Goliath.
He rehearsed testimony.
1 Samuel 17:37:
“The LORD who delivered me from the paw of the lion…”
David built faith by remembering past victories.
Memory fuels meditation.
Meditation fuels confidence.
Kenneth E. Hagin said:
“Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, but it is fed by meditating on the Word.”
— Kenneth E. Hagin, Faith That Moves Mountains
If the Word is casual to you, faith will be casual.
If the Word is constant to you, faith will be constant.
III. WHAT YOU GUARD DETERMINES WHAT YOU PRODUCE
III. WHAT YOU GUARD DETERMINES WHAT YOU PRODUCE
Proverbs 4:23
Out of the heart flow the issues of life.
That word “issues” means boundaries or forces.
Your heart determines your limits.
Biblical Example: The Ten Spies vs. Joshua and Caleb
Biblical Example: The Ten Spies vs. Joshua and Caleb
Numbers 13–14
Same land.
Same giants.
Same promise.
Different hearts.
The ten said:
“We are not able…”
Joshua and Caleb said:
“We are well able…”
What was the difference?
Heart condition.
Joshua and Caleb guarded promise.
The others magnified problems.
Unstoppable faith requires aggressive guarding.
IV. AUTHORITY REVELATION PRODUCES BOLD FAITH
IV. AUTHORITY REVELATION PRODUCES BOLD FAITH
Matthew 8:5–13
The centurion understood delegated authority.
“Only speak a word…”
Jesus said:
“I have not found such great faith…”
What made it great?
Revelation.
He understood rank.
He understood command.
He understood structure.
Biblical Example: Peter Walking on Water
Biblical Example: Peter Walking on Water
Matthew 14:28–31
Peter said:
“Lord, if it is You, command me…”
When Jesus spoke, Peter walked.
Authority in the Word creates faith for the impossible.
When Peter looked at waves, he sank.
When he focused on the Word, he walked.
Authority revelation removes hesitation.
Jonathan Shuttlesworth teaches:
“When you understand what Jesus accomplished, you stop asking God to do what He already finished.”
Faith becomes bold when you understand what is settled.
V. SMALL FAITH USED BECOMES GREAT FAITH
V. SMALL FAITH USED BECOMES GREAT FAITH
Luke 17:5–6
“If you have faith as a mustard seed…”
Jesus did not criticize small faith.
He criticized unused faith.
Biblical Example: The Woman with the Issue of Blood
Biblical Example: The Woman with the Issue of Blood
Mark 5:25–34
She said:
“If I may touch but His clothes…”
She acted on small faith.
Jesus said:
“Daughter, your faith has made you well.”
She didn’t wait for a prayer line.
She didn’t wait for perfect conditions.
She acted.
Faith grows when it moves.
David Oyedepo said:
“Faith that does not act is fake. Living faith must find expression.”
VI. FAITH IS STRENGTHENED THROUGH TESTING
VI. FAITH IS STRENGTHENED THROUGH TESTING
James 1:2–3
“Knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.”
Testing does not destroy real faith.
It reveals it.
Biblical Example: Abraham and Isaac
Biblical Example: Abraham and Isaac
Genesis 22
God tested Abraham.
Why?
Because tested faith becomes established faith.
After obedience, God said:
“Now I know…”
Unstoppable faith survives examination.
VII. FAITH SPEAKS BEFORE IT SEES
VII. FAITH SPEAKS BEFORE IT SEES
Since we have the same spirit of faith according to what has been written, “I believed, and so I spoke,” we also believe, and so we also speak,
We Believe and we speak based on that confession of belief- FAITH
Mark 11:23
Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.
Faith does not wait for evidence.
It creates evidence.
Biblical Example: Ezekiel and the Dry Bones
Biblical Example: Ezekiel and the Dry Bones
Ezekiel 37
God said:
“Prophesy…”
The bones were still dry.
But the Word spoken produced life.
Unstoppable faith speaks life before change appears.
