In week three of our Grace in the Depths series through the book of Jonah, we encounter Jonah at the very bottom — literally in the depths. From the belly of the fish, Jonah finally realizes the truth he had been resisting all along: salvation belongs to the Lord.
This passage reminds us that God often meets us in the depths — in the storms, the waiting rooms, and the moments when we reach the end of ourselves. Even there, God’s mercy pursues, restores, and delivers.
