As the world turns, the young and the restless, are on a search for tomorrow. They are looking for another world. They lives their lives one day at a time, on the edge of night. And, they're searching for the guiding light.

15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

I believe everyone already knows the context of the world this passage is alluding to. But there is a lesson here on how love pointed in the wrong direction can be sinful, and how we need to protect our hearts from deception, temptation, and the lies the world promise us that we can be our own gods.
These days people are killing themselves trying to live. People still think they can find peace of mind in pills. They try to eat their way to ecstacy, drink their way to pleasure, and smoke their way to settled nerves, bully their way to friendship, and bum their way to world peace.
But I know where a sick man can get well, where a bad man can be made good, where a good man can be made better, and even a dead man can be made alive, it’s in Jesus Christ.
Jesus says to deny yourself and pick up your cross daily and follow Him. Every single day, take your evil thoughts captive, and dwell with the Lord. Seek His presence and dwell in His house.
In Colossians 1:23 we are reminded that sin alienates us from God and we are wicked in mind.
From Eden to everyone, the essence of sin is the creation trying to be the creator. Believing the lie that we can live as our own God's. Every sin has the same fruit stealing qualities.
