welcome to another Bible cast video. Today's versetoday's verse is John 8:32.

오늘의 말씀은 요한복음 8장 32절 이야.

“You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

진리를 알지니 진리가 너희를 자유롭게 하리라.

So what is the truth and what does it set us free from?

진리가 뭐고 우리를 뭐에 자유롭게 해줄까?

The truth is that God loves you.

진리는 하나님이 너를 사랑하신다는 사실이야.

The Truth is that Jesus already paid for your sins.

진리는 예수님이 이미 너의 죄값을 다 치셨다는 사실이야.

(00:48) It sets you free from lies.

그 진리는 우리가 거짓말에서 자유롭게 해주고

free from guilt.

죄책감에서 자유롭게 해주고

and free from trying to be perfect on your own.

혼자 완벽해지려고 애쓰는 것에서 자유롭게 해줘.

You can go to God freely because he already loves you.

하나님이 이미 너를 사랑하시니까 너는 하나님께 언제든지 자유롭게 나아갈 수 있어.

But you have to know the truth first.

근데 먼저 진리를 알아야 해.

That’s why spending time in God’s word really matters.

해서 하나님의 말씀을 읽고 묵상하는 시간이 진짜 중요한 거야.
