Hear the Son

What you listen to you end up believing and following. Mark 4:24 “And he said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear...”

Only Jesus reveals the fullness of the Father’s Glory.

Only Jesus has the Words of life.

Moses received the law from God, but ONLY JESUS can redeem us from the curse of sin and death.

Elijah revealed the future, but ONLY JESUS can grant eternal life.

You and I need to listen to the Word of Christ in order to discern the truth.

We need to hear Him daily.

Follow the Son

What does it profit to gain the world and lose your soul?

That would be like treasuring a sea shell and throwing away the pearl.

To follow Jesus means that we must deny self.

The world tells you to discover yourself, but the result is short sighted.

Christ invites you to “lose” yourself in order to gain eternal life.

To deny yourself and take up your cross means that you

To follow Jesus means that we confess Him and His word before the world.

The world’s system puts self first. When we confess Christ as Lord we agree to follow him wherever He leads.

Satan promises you glory, but in the end, you receive suffering. God promises you suffering, but in the end, that suffering is transformed into glory

The wonderful thing about following Christ is that he walks with us. He does not call us to go where he has not been, and he does not leave us to struggle alone. He walks with us day by day.

Matthew 11:28–30 ESV

28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Believe the Son

Jesus did not allow His disciples to camp out on the mountain, but to come down to minister to others.

He foretold his death and RESURRECTION.

When you follow the Son you receive the promise of eternal life.
