Bakit “Ang Simula ng Lahat” (Genesis 1-11)?

Ang Salaysay ng Paglikha ng Diyos (Gen. 1:1-2:3)

Ano ang itinuturo sa atin ng Genesis 1:1-2?

1. Merong simula ang lahat.

“In the beginning…” (v. 1)

2. Merong Diyos bago pa ang simula.

“In the beginning God…” (v. 1)

3. Merong Diyos na lumikha sa lahat ng bagay sa simula.

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” (v. 1)

4. Merong hindi pa tapos sa simula.

“The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep…” (v. 2)

5. Merong Espiritu ng Diyos na kumikilos sa simula.

“…And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.” (v. 2)

Conclusion

Theology: Makakaasa tayo na ang Diyos—na walang simula at walang katapusan at lumikha ng lahat—ang siyang tatapos ng sinimulan niya.
