Jesus takes both his pain and his need to God in Prayer.

Even though this trial was greater than anything Jesus had faced, it did not change the way he communed with God in prayer.

the busiest times of life keep us from praying, but Jesus makes times in all situations.

Jesus’ prayers are full of honesty and pain.

Jesus shows honesty and humility in prayer

Jesus desires that God does not put him through what lies ahead. Yet, he is committed to God’s will.

Prayer takes us to our innermost feelings and pain to God.

Jesus shows us the example, but the disciples show us what not to do.

God is commited to us as he was commited to Jesus.

Jesus is praying that his will may not be done but the will of the father and he receives his answer. An angel comes and strengthens him.

God will strengthen us and give us a way out of temptation. 1 Corinthians 10:12-13

God did not spare the trial from Jesus, but spared.
