1. Don’t reject Jesus authority

Why do the leaders reject Jesus’ authority?

They want God’s gifts without God’s authority

Body, Sexuality, House

They think they are better than other people

People around the world

They want control rather than serving

Power

They want wealth rather than the kingdom of God

This life vs eternal life

Your income vs treasures in heaven

2. Let Jesus be the Cornerstone in your life.

Jesus wants you to trust Him so that you receive what He wants to give you

Jesus wants to forgive your sins and wants you to forgive others

Jesus is our entry into the kingdom rather than own goodness and wealth. Gratefulness and obedience should be the response.

Repentance isn’t primarily about our behavior but about our desires. Christianity is much deeper than behavior modification.

Listening to Jesus, Practicing prayer and forgiveness of others is repentance and puts Jesus where he belongs
