Hmmmm!

2 Peter 3:9 “9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
In the Bible, God often gave warnings before destruction through various prophets and divine messages. Key figures include:
Isaiah: Warned about the impending judgment due to the people's rebellion (Isaiah 1:4).
Jeremiah: Woreied Judah of the coming Babylonian exile and called for repentance (Jeremiah 25:4-5).
Ezekiel: Used the trumpet as a warning to the people of Israel (Ezekiel 33:11).
Proverbs: Stated that a prudent man foresees evil and hides himself, emphasizing the importance of recognizing impending destruction (Proverbs 16:18).
Genesis: Mentioned God's decision to destroy the world due to humanity's corruption (Genesis 6:13).  These warnings serve as divine interventions aimed at guiding and correcting the people, highlighting God's desire for repentance before judgment.

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father, Thank You for showing us through Your Word that Your warnings come from a heart of love and mercy. You do not desire our destruction but our repentance and restoration. Yahweh, give us humble hearts that listen when You speakthrough Scripture, through Your Spirit, and through the people You place in our lives.
Help us to recognize Your voice and respond with obedience. Where we’ve ignored Your calls or delayed our repentance, forgive us and draw us closer to You. Teach us to walk in wisdom, watchfulness, and faith, that we may live lives pleasing to You and be ready for every good work You’ve prepared for us.
May Your Word today bear fruit in our hearts, and may we encourage others to heed Your truth in love. We ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
