welcome to another Bible cast video. Today's verse is Proverbs 1:3.

오늘의 말씀은 잠언 1장 3절 이야.

“To receive instruction in wise dealing in rightousness, justice, and equity.”

슬기롭게 행하게 하며 공의와 정의와 정직을 가지려 함이라.

Wisdom isn't just about being smart.

슬기롭고 지혜로운 것은 그냥 똑똑한게 아니야.

It's about knowing how to live right.

지혜는 바르게 사는 방법을 아는 거야.

How to treat people fairly.

(00:46) 사람들을 공평하게 대하는 법.

How to make good choices.

좋은 선택을 하는 법.

How to act with integrity.

정직하게 행동하는 법.

And here's the important thing.

그리고 여기에서 중요한게 하나 있어.

You have to receive instruction.

우리는 가르침을 받아야 해.

That means being willing to learn.

그 말은 배우려고 하는 마음이 있어야 한다는 뜻이야.

Sometimes we think we already know everything.

가끔은 우리 스스로 다 안다고 생각할 때가 있지.

(01:26) And that includes me too.

나도 그래.

But wisdom comes from listening and learning.

근데 지혜는 듣는 거랑 배우는 것에서 와.

from letting God teach us through His word.

하나님이 말씀을 통해 가르쳐 주실 때 그걸 마음으로 받아들이는 거야.
