1. Give Yourself up to God.
Mark 8:34–38 ESV
And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? For what can a man give in return for his soul? For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”
Mark 8:34–36 ESV

1 Cor
1 Corinthians 6:19–20 ESV
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
2. Listen up to God.
Psalm 119:11–16 ESV
I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Blessed are you, O Lord; teach me your statutes! With my lips I declare all the rules of your mouth. In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches. I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways. I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word.
Proverbs 4:20 ESV
My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.
Psalm 119:105 ESV
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
John 17:17 ESV
Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.
2 Timothy 3:14–17 ESV
But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:14–15 ESV

3. Cheer up your brothers and sisters.
Romans 12:9-1
Romans 12:9–13 ESV
Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.
Hebrews 13:1 ESV
Let brotherly love continue.
1 Peter 1:22 ESV
Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart,

4. Show up to Church

Hebrews 10:23–25 ESV
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
Matthew 18:29 ESV
So his fellow servant fell down and pleaded with him, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you.’
Matthew 18:
Matthew 18:20 ESV
For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
5. Back Up Your Pastor
Hebrews 13:17 ESV
Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.
1 Timothy 5:17 ESV
Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching.
2 Cor
2 Corinthians 1:10–11 ESV
He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again. You also must help us by prayer, so that many will give thanks on our behalf for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many.
6. Pick up Your Ministry
1 Peter 4:10–11 ESV
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Rom 1
Romans 12:6–7 ESV
Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching;

Rom 12:8
Romans 12:8 ESV
the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.
Romans 12:6–8 ESV
Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.
7. Offer/Give up your Tithes.
7. Offer /Give up your Tithes.
Malachi 3:8–10 ESV
Will man rob God? Yet you are robbing me. But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In your tithes and contributions. You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing me, the whole nation of you. Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.
2 Corinthians 9:6–7 ESV
The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:8–9 ESV
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. As it is written, “He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.”
2 Cor 9:
2 Corinthians 8:12 ESV
For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.
1 Corinthians 16:1–2 ESV
Now concerning the collection for the saints: as I directed the churches of Galatia, so you also are to do. On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that there will be no collecting when I come.
In the spirit of love, we have banded together to form this local church, which is the body of those upon whom the call of God rests to witness to the grace and truth of God.
Because we believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, we will seek to bring every phase of our lives under His Lordship.
We unreservedly and with abandon commit our lives and destiny to Christ, promising to give Him priority in all the affairs of life. We will seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
We believe that God is the total owner of our lives and resources. We give God the throne in relation to the material aspects of our lives. Because God is a lavish giver, we too will be lavish and cheerful in our regular gifts.
We commit ourselves, regardless of the expenditure of time, energy and money to become informed, mature Christians.
We will seek to be Christ-led in all relations with our fellow people, regardless of their race, color, class or creed.
We commit ourselves to watch over one another in brotherly love; to pray for each other; to aid one another in sickness and distress.
We recognize that the function of this church is to glorify God in adoration and sacrificial service, and to be God’s missionaries in the world, bearing witness to God’s redeeming grace in Jesus Christ.
We commit that when we remove from this place we will, as soon as possible, unite with some other church, where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God’s Word.
