Connect Central
Connect Central Expectation:
Connect Central Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome each guest. (Handshake, smile, fist bump)
Make sure each guest scans the QR code and fill out personal info
Give each guest their free gift
Help guest navigate through church’s website (if needed)
Pray with guests as appropriate.
Connect Central Expectations:
Attend at least one service each Sunday. When you serve be sure you attend the
service either before or afterwards. First and foremost, we want you to make sure you
are being poured into so you can receive all that God has for you!
• Be on time. We ask that every Connect Team volunteer be here 30-35 minutes prior to
the beginning of the service in which they are serving. We will meet in the Volunteer
Hospitality room for announcements, prayer, name tag pickup and assignments.
• Please dress modestly and neatly. Make sure you dress appropriate, as leaders we
never want to wear anything that would be a hindrance in ministering to others. No low-
cut tops, spaghetti straps or short skirts/shorts. Keep in mind too that you may need to
stand outside or in a doorway for part of your service time and many Sunday mornings
are quite windy in West Texas!
• Wear your name tag. Upon arrival, grab your name tag and wear it as you serve. It is
important for everyone to walk through the doors or foyer and see your name tag to be
able to identify you as a volunteer if they need to ask for help. Please return your
name tag to the Volunteer Hospitality room when you are finished serving for the
morning.
• Communicate. We all know that there will be times when things come up that keep
you from serving on your chosen week. We ask that you please communicate any
changes as soon as possible so we can find a replacement.
