Believers always think of Jesus as their Savior, as God, or that friend that sticks to us closer than a brother. Sometimes we forget that not only was he fully God, but also fully man. As one of us, feeling hungry, feeling the difference of wet and dry skin as He was baptised by His cousin. Feeling regret and disappointment (I can only assume) at the disbelief of His earthly brothers and sisters. Feeling love for His parents and closest friends. Feeling sorrow at the death of His beloved friend, Lazarus. Feeling angry at the corruption in His Father's house. Laughing at a good joke or intrigued by a well told story. Feeling betrayed by one so close to Him. Feeling pain at the end of a studded whip and suffocating under the weight of His own body. We sometimes forget he was human and went through everything we go through and understands. Listen, and imagine being around Him as these scenes unfold.
