We gather here today to Thank God for Jody. We are also gathered for two other reasons
to Preach the Gospel
and to comfort others.
2 Corinthians 1:4 “4 who comforts us in all our affliction,
so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction,
with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
Let us pray:
The hardest part of today is dealing with the Joy of Christ’s Promise to Believers
and the heavy heartbreak of missing a gift from God
On Tuesday —- Jody went to be with our LORD
my heart has hurt for day. I struggled like you ——-
JOY FOR JODY TO BE DANCING WITH JESUS
and the pain for those who miss him
Friends it is reality that we all struggle with the paradox of death
i remind you that CHRISTIANS Go to JESUS and it is AMAZING
all our prayers for HEALING were ANSWERED in JODY’s passing to HEAVEN
Buddy —- we miss you deeply but We thank JESUS for YOUR example to US.

Today we come to celebrate the GIFT of Jody Hamsing.
We must fight the battle inside to find JOY.
JODY is Dancing with Jesus
I was given permission to share these Words from his Sister.....

Jody Hamsing Obituary

Jody, was the definition of strength.
He faced more in his life than most ever will, yet he carried it with a quiet, powerful resilience that spoke louder than words ever could.
Though he was nonverbal, he never needed words to be understood.
You could feel his spirit, his love, and his light in every moment. He was chronically ill, but even more than that, he was chronically strong.
He showed us what true endurance, faith, and courage look like. Jody loved Jesus so deeply, and you could see it in the peace he carried.
He loved worship music and lights: those moments where everything felt calm and full of presence,
like he was already experiencing a piece of heaven here on earth. He was an inspiration in ways that are hard to put into words.
He changed people just by being himself. And he was SO, so loved.
Today we gather with heavy hearts, yet with a hope that is unshakable,
to celebrate the life of a precious young man—15 years given to us as a gift from God.
Though his time here felt far too short, his life was full of purpose, beauty, and a kind of love that many spend a lifetime trying to understand.
Written by his Sister Cori
His Father —— would say often that WE SHOULD always be preaching the Gospel and some times use Words.
That was by buddy Jody.
He did not walk as others walk, nor speak as others speak.
But he communicated in a language far deeper than words—a language of the soul.
Through his eyes, we saw innocence.
You know that Jody knew the Lord
For the things of the Lord
brought joy to His face
Through his smile, we felt joy.
And through his presence, we experienced a quiet, powerful love that drew people in and softened hearts.
In a world that often measures worth by ability, achievement, or voice, his life reminded us of a greater truth:
that every life is created in the image of God, and every soul carries immeasurable value.
He did not need words to preach a sermon—his life was the message.
A message of patience, of gentleness, of unconditional love.
Jody assisted his Father and Mother speaking the Gospel in every area.
Jody’s very presence would open the door for his family, his pastor and his friends to preach the Gospel to others.
We believe that his limitations on earth were not a reflection of his spirit, but simply a temporary condition of the body. Today, we hold onto the promise that he is now whole—running free, speaking clearly, and fully alive in the presence of the Lord.
Scripture gives us comfort and clarity in moments like this:
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” – Matthew 19:14
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.” – Revelation 21:4
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13
Though we grieve, we do not grieve without hope.
Because of Jesus Christ, we know this is not the end of his story—it is only the beginning of eternity.
One day, there will be a reunion. One day, every tear will be redeemed.
Until then, we carry forward what he gave us: a reminder to slow down, to love deeply, to see beyond the surface, and to recognize the sacred in every human life.
His life was not defined by what he could not do, but by what he gave—joy, love, and a glimpse of heaven.
And that will never be forgotten.
This week there were so many beautiful memories of Jody
From his face glowing in a playful grin
to His expressions of Joy at hearing the World of God
i truly and deeply believe that Jody was serving GOD
Jody knew and loved Jesus
Jody did not speak, but OPENED DOOR FOR OTHERS to do so
I was reminded of Moses’s brother Aaron
I saw many times Jody would open the door and we wuold follow.
Jody showed us and example of quiet faith
Jody showed us how to live a painful life and find Joy in the Lord
Friends today ——-
I believe that Jody was a GIFT to us ALL
We all live complex lives full of things that distract us from the Lord. Jody lived every day as a gift.
Jody showed us a POWERFUL, QUIET FAITH
Jody served the Lord
and we should all LIFT THAT UP today and every day the rest of our life
I deeply believe we all need to have the FAITH THAT JODY demostrated EVERY DAY
I pray that we all
CHANGED TO CHRIST, because of the example of JODY
The Lord received him
in a blink of an eye
The Gospel my Friends is demonstrated by Jody
JUST BELIEVE
LIFE every Day one JESUS MOMENT at a TIME
the best thing we can do is FOCUS more today than yesterday
Every day is a GIFT
Thank you Jody for a life well lived
it brings me great COMFORT
to know
that Jody heard the WORDS on Tuesday
Matthew 25:21 “21 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’”
let us pray.
I want to open the floor for you to express pray to OUR JESUS
