Rev 21:21-22:7. Tony van Drimmelen. Christians have been known to face impossible hardship and yet do tremendous good in the world. What inspires them? What kept the early church from being decimated by horrendous persecutions? Heaven is the most important thing that we have to take into our life now. How? Revelation gives us the truth about the Lamb but without knowing Him we can’t be sure that heaven is a certainty. With Him, heaven is our true home. Since there is a perfect world coming, we don't put all our hope in the current world. We have the best motivation to sacrificially serve others because we value the things of the coming world more than the things of this world.
