Matthew 13:44-48

Matthew 13:44–50 NKJV
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away. So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”
This passage comes after Jesus has told several parables and Explained the meaning of parables:
> Parable of the sower and the different soils.
> Jeremiah 17:9 ““The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?”
> John 15:16 “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”
> Parable of the wheat and the tares
> Parable of the mustard seed
> Parable of the leaven.

The kingdom of heaven should be valuable to you.

If someone asks you to say you don’t believe in Christ and they will give you all the money or toys or food you want, would you say yes?
If you value the Kingdom of heaven like you’re supposed to, then you will never give up christ.
Christ should be more valuable to you than anything else.
