Dear Church Family,
As we step into the month of April, we are reminded of one of the most powerful and life-changing truths of our faith—the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Easter is not just a date on the calendar; it is the foundation of our hope, the assurance of our salvation, and the victory that defines our lives as believers.
The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:20, “But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.” Because He lives, we have hope beyond this world. Because He conquered the grave, we can walk in newness of life each and every day.
As we reflect on the events of Holy Week—from the Triumphal Entry to the cross, and ultimately to the empty tomb—I want to encourage you to personally draw near to the Lord. Take time this month to read through the Gospel accounts, pray with intention, and reflect on the incredible love that was demonstrated at Calvary.
Easter also provides a wonderful opportunity for us to reach out to others. Many people who may not regularly attend church are more open during this season. I encourage each of you to invite a friend, neighbor, or family member to join us for our Resurrection Sunday service. You never know how God might use a simple invitation to change someone’s life for eternity.
As a church family, let us not just celebrate the resurrection with our words, but also with our lives. Let us walk in victory, live with purpose, and share the Gospel boldly. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in us!
I am so thankful for each of you and for the way you faithfully serve and love one another. It is a joy to be your pastor and to walk alongside you in this journey of faith.
May this Easter season fill your heart with renewed joy, strengthened faith, and a deeper love for our risen Savior.
He is risen…He is risen indeed!
In Christ,
Pastor David
