Verse 5

Masters according to flesh = Your Human Master or Employer
With Fear and Trembling = Concern to do a Good Job
Singleness of your heart = Out of sincerity not Hypocrisy
“ It saying right here to serve your employer with doing a good job by giving a 110% putting pride in the quality of work you put out not putting out poor quality work just cause you are a servant not a master. I been a small engine tech for many years and over the years I seen alot of damaged equipment caused by employee with the mentality that it isn’t my equipment why should I care. I even seen repair done wrong by other mechanics with the same mentality. Give 110% and always try to put out the best work you can do “

Verse 6

Not with eye service = Only doing work when Master is watching
“Anyone ever have a Co-Worker that sits around doing nothing when the boss man ain’t around but soon as the boss man shows up they get up and make their selves look busy or a co worker that busy doing anything else but working ?? One of my favorite verses in the Bible Paul basically said if a man don’t work a man don’t eat. He also talked about the dangers of idleness as the old saying says Idlehand is the Devil’s Workshop” Read 2 Thessalonians 3:10–11 “For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.”

Verse 7

Good will = Good intention to do what's the best interest of their Master
“ When I went to work where I work now I asked a question about how they would handle a repair cause I knew every shop has their own ways of handling things and the answer I got was a question
How would you handle it if it was your shop ? How would you handle the work if it was 100% up to you 100% you take the back lash of a poor job done. When we work for others we need to ask ourselves this, if we took the 100% responsible for the work we done we would probably make sure we give 110% to make sure the job was done right. We need to do the same for our Masters Human or Heavenly . Are you willing to do good work for the Lord give him 110% ?

Verse 8

What good man does the Lord will do for him rather be bond or free (Employee or Employer)
“ I believe you should do good work even outside of the place of employment if it at you home , church or community it important to do good work cause what we sow we reap good or bad.
Read Galatians 6:7–8 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”
It important to remember in the end we will be judged by our Heavenly for the work we have done good or bad. Read Romans 2:6 “Who will render to every man according to his deeds:”

Verse 9

Masters treat your servants with respect cause you also serve a Master in Heaven
“I know some of yall that are employers are thinking yeah this sounds pretty good but wait
It say for Master to do the same for their servants to show the same respect cause we all serve the
Same Heavenly Master. In a business Good Leadership and Good Employees can make a company
When Masters and Servants have respect for each other then good work can be done. A divide in Leadership and employees due to lack of respect from either side can cause the company to fall. So it important to show respect to your employee not only show respect but lead by example. No one led better by example than our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Leading up to his betrayal Jesus decided to led by example one more time. He washed the feet of his disciples. Read John 13:14–15 “If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.”
Jesus led by example so us as Christians either Bond or Free should lead by example by giving 110% in everything we do. Sowing for the good not for the bad cause one day we will reap our rewards
