Lord God, We give thanks to you Because you have become Our salvation. And as a result, We, your church, are now your temple. We are your household. We are the dwelling place of the Lord Almighty! What a privilege!
And so Lord, we rejoice. Because you and you alone have done this. You have saved us And delivered us. We rejoice because you sent Jesus, who came in the name of YHWH Two thousand years ago. We rejoice because even though he was Rejected by his own people, You made him the foundation of our church And the rock on which we stand.
And because of Jesus, we can say this Sunday, We bless you from the house of the Lord! Jesus is God, And He has given us light. We who were living in darkness, Upon us the light has shone, Therefore, by the mercies of you, O God, We can offer our bodies As living sacrifices. Because in your great mercy, Instead of your justice, You say to us, "You are my people" And we can say "You are my God" And we give thanks to you!
Lord God, Jesus is the proof that your steadfast love Never ceases. Your mercies never come to an end. He proved your love for us, In that while we rejected him, Jesus the Messiah died for us. Much more then, Having now been justified by His blood, We shall be saved from the wrath of God Through this rejected Jesus.
How can we not praise you?
And so, as your church, As your saved people, We say Hosanna. Hosanna in the highest! Because the Lord is our salvation. Jesus is our salvation, In whose great name we praise you, Amen.
