the King is born

God morning! Thank you Lord for this day, thank you for sharing your time with us, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In Jesus/Yahushua’s holy name...We thank you that we are filled with You in Love and Grace, as we learn more and grow in Your Word, and in You. Take from us anything that may hinder our growth, and anything that is not of You, we thank you for less of us more of You.

As we see one another as brothers, and sisters, as Your children, in One Body, and One Church...Your Church, as we walk under your protection from anything not of You, or Your will, as we are filled with your Word, and still in your peace, we are Yours’, Blessed & grateful. Blessed be the Lord God Almighty, the Son & Holy Spirit.

Thank you, in Yahushua's Holy Name...we say Ephphatha, “be opened”, to hearing, and speaking the Word...so be it.

Last week we saw the prophetic announcement of John (Elijah) and The Messiah, Yahshua. The trumpet first, the Shofar, proclaiming and witnessing the Lord’s coming.

Isaiah 40:3 “3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, Make straight in the desert a highway for our God.” This is the way things were done for prophecy and even the announcement of the sabbath. A man was called to watch for tis coming and then announce it but, this is the coming of the King! Not only a trumpet but, a prophetic one, in the Spirit of Elijah, whom they should have recognized. (Go to the scriptures, “it is written.”) We also know that there is a prediction in the scriptures of His coming. He tells us to know them, study them and to be them, in attitude and deed. These teachings were for all, but the pharisees and worldly leaders thought they were excluded from following the Laws of YHWH. So, here comes the King!

Luke 2:1–14 KJV 1900

1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. 2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) 3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. 4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Beth-lehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) 5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. 6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. 8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14 Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, Good will toward men.

Born in the House of Bread! As He teaches us in the gospels, He is the Bread of Life so, its pretty prophetic that is where He is born. As well as in the city of David, the “shepherd boy” who tends to his sheep and is anointed King.. Are these guys not catching this? Wait and His name is SALVATION? Savior? YAHSHUA! Meshiach!

John 10:11 “11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”

Born and laid in a manger? He calls us His sheep....a manger...also used for feeding...the bread of life! Read the scriptures...

Micah 5:2 “2 But thou, Beth-lehem Ephratah, Though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; Whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.”

Then the singing breaks out from Heavenly Hosts, praising YHWH...multitudes of hosts in Heaven as has been seen in Genesis, Psalms, Daniel...

Genesis 28:12 “12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.”

Genesis 32:1–2 “1 And Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him. 2 And when Jacob saw them, he said, This is God’s host: and he called the name of that place Mahanaim.”

Daniel 7:10 “10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.”

Matthew 18:10 “10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.”

Luke 2:15–21 KJV 1900

15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Beth-lehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. 16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. 17 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. 18 And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. 19 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. 20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them. 21 And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

Confirming the name Yahshua, Salvation is here. Dont you think these guys went around bragging on these things. Witnessed by too many and what, you doubt it? Or, if you’re threatened by it, you just kill it.

Luke 2:22–35 KJV 1900

22 And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord; 23 (As it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;) 24 And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons. 25 And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. 26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. 27 And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, 28 Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, 29 Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart In peace, according to thy word: 30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, 31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; 32 A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel. 33 And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him. 34 And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against; 35 (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.

I love this part of the story. Simeon now has peace! That the Prince of Peace has arrived he can now leave this earth and all its wonders, all its uses for YHWH not for man...was that CHRIST BE BORN AND SAVE ALL, THE SALVATION OF ALL MEN! Not just us, but all men even gentiles...all for Your Glory!

There is a warning in there as well...the fall and rising ...

Hosea 14:9 “9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? Prudent, and he shall know them? For the ways of the Lord are right, And the just shall walk in them: But the transgressors shall fall therein.”

Matthew 21:44 “44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.” He is the cornerstone the builders rejected!

1 Corinthians 1:23–24 “23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.”

The thoughts of many hearts revealed...even His disciples

Luke 9:46–47 “46 Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them should be greatest. 47 And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a child, and set him by him,”

John 9:39 “39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.”

He is the revealer, the Teacher, The Door, The High Priest!

Luke 2:36–40 KJV 1900

36 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; 37 And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. 38 And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem. 39 And when they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own city Nazareth. 40 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.

Another witness...of the Lord YHWH, performing the ways of the Lord YHWH as Zechariah and Elizabeth, and Simeon, now Anna...these are all witnesses to His coming, His birth, a blessing of the promise of YHWH Himself!

Sad, that its not enough for these peoples.

But, as prophecy says, He is off to His home in Galilee.

Matthew 2:23 “23 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.”

and Nazareth means sprout! Branch...the Branch, the Vine, as we learned last week.

Isaiah 11:1 “1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots:”

Luke 2:41–52 KJV 1900

41 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. 42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. 43 And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. 44 But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day’s journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance. 45 And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him. 46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. 47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. 48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. 49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business? 50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them. 51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart. 52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

Its 3 days later...hmmm. He is sitting with the doctors, the teachers, the leaders, asking and learning for what He is up against. What do these men know and believe, compared to Truth?

About His Fathers business, in His Fathers house. His zeal shows up even as a child...but, in the future:

John 2:16 “16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.”

Matthew 21:13 “13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.”

Imagine having this child, or, a child who has Christ in Him, as we all should...asking, learning, teaching, Loving in the ways of YHWH!
