James 5:14–15 NKJV
14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Introduction:
Tonight is not complicated the text that we just read told is what to do, and we are here to obey it!

The Lord Heals The Whole Person.

There are not separate ministries — there is one savior who heals completely:
Physical.
Emotional.
Spiritual.
Psalm 103:2–3 NKJV
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,
Forgiveness and Healing are tied together.
God Does not separate what we separate.

Healing was paid for at the cross.

Isaiah 53:5 NKJV
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
Our Sin—-forgiven
Our Peace —- restored
Your body, mind, and spirit—-healed

Forgiveness is the key to deep healing.

Mark 11:25 NKJV
25 “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.
Matthew 6:14–15 NKJV
14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Some people are not sick in their body— they are sick in their soul.
Trauma, bitterness, offense— These things hold healing back.
Pastoral Moment(very important tone):
“Forgiveness is not saying it didn’t happen...
it is releasing it to God so it no longer controls you.”

The Prayer of Faith.

James 5:15 NKJV
15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Clarify:
Faith is not hype.
Faith is not emotion.
Faith is confidence in God’s Word.
Hebrews 11:1 NKJV
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
“We are not trying to make things happen—we are responding to what the Lord has already said.”
Ministry Flow:
Step 1— Lead in forgiveness (Cooperate).
applying the truth we already know.
“Before we for healing...
we are going to release anything we are holding.”
Guidance:
“Lord I forgive...”
“ I release...”
“I Let go...”
Step 2 Invite the sick Forward.
“Is anyone sick among you?”
Step 3— Anoint with oil + Prayer.
Keep Prayers:
Short.
Authoritative.
Scripture Based.
Step 4—Expectation, Not Pressure.
“We believe God heals tonight.
And we trust Him completely—whether it is instant or in process.”
Closing Exhortation.
Healing is not something we beg for—
It is something Jesus already provided.
Forgiveness is not weakness—
it is the doorway to freedom.
Faith is not weakness—
it is the doorway to freedom.
Faith is not understanding everything—
it is trusting the one who does.
And tonight—
We have obeyed The Word.
We have released what we where holding.
And we have believed God.
Now we trust him to do what only He can do.
