Before we can understand Easter, we must understand why it was necessary.
Romans 3:23 says:
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Every one of us has sinned.
Sin is not just mistakes—it is separation from God.
It is rebellion against His holiness.
And Romans 6:23 says:
“For the wages of sin is death…”
Not just physical death—but spiritual death. Eternal separation from God.
No amount of good works can fix this.
