Child-Like

what does Jesus mean by being like a child

innocence sure

real humility like we talked about on Wednesday

a child has no agency in their society, requires an adult

you view yourself as one who is in need of the Father if you want to have a place in the kingdom

Temptation

do not be the cause of temptation

get temptation out of your life by any means necessary

even just a little sin makes the whole bottle gross

God removes the sin and guilt, you must overcome the temptation that causes it

the good shepherd would leave the 99 to come after you when you are lost

what are you doing for the one who would go so far for you?

Conflict Resolution and a parable

do we make a public spectacle about how people wrong us?

do we gossip about it before confronting the person?

do we just give up on people because they don’t want to listen to me?

try to bring about resolution any way you can

if they will not listen, you still be forgiving

Justice is God’s to enact

mercy and grace like what God has shown me are what I am supposed to show

Application

get sin out of your life and seek resolution not conflict when others sin against you
